I am having a great xmas! We had family over last night for some great food and they are coming back today for a 10# prime rib that i should start cooking soon!

My husband in his usual generous self got me a couple of wonder unexpected gifts!~ I say unexpected because we decided no gifts..lol

I got him a little something from the girls....but nothing compared to what he did for me... So, yeah.. its gonna be a great day!;)
oh and now he is cutting the grass for me:eek: it is 74 here today and sunny. maybe a walk on the beach later

awww,, how sweet! .... Dont you just fall in love with them all over again when they do those little things...

Yes I am having a really nice Christmas. All the kids and grandkids were here bright and early. We don't exchange adult gifts but had a great time watching the grandkids get their presents from Santa. Everyone is gone now so we have a few hours before they all come back and we have left overs for dinner. They had all said they wouldn't be here for dinner so I didn't fix anything............then they all changed their minds. No one minds the left overs though so all is well. And I got a Christmas call from my favorite frister (Chattiesmom). That made my day.

Absolutely! All me & my parents asked for was for my brother, his wife and the new baby to spend time with us......and we are so blessed to have them here for the entire week!!!

we had our Christmas yesterday so everyone could be here.
my mom, all our kids and grandkids, it was great, watching their faces as they opened gifts.
thats all I needed, everyone here having a good time :) today I straightened up, played around with dixie and peanut and did laundry.

It was the first time in several years my family was together. Normally there is tension between my mom and sister but this year things went well. We had dinner at my house last night and everyone had a good time laughing and just enjoying each others company. My Miss Stella was a little doll in her Tinkerbells Closet dress and had her share of snuggles from everyone. I received nice gifts but the perfect gift was spending good time with my family.

I didn't really want anything for Christmas.......just for everyone to be together and happy. But I got lots of goodies that were needed and I loved everything.

My daughter got lots of goodies too...including an iPhone, she was THRILLED....I just hope it is a good phone!!

I am home with family for xmas! Last year was soooooooo sad w/o my mom around, so this year I went to see her and my brother who moved out here in May. (we are from NH but they moved to NM) not only was it great to just be 'home' but I got 3 things that were on my wish list for xmas and ironically I won 2 of them while I was out here! (an iPod and a Coach purse and wallet) but my mom got me a chi turbo straight iron! I was SUPER surprised and thrilled! Now to get rid of this stupid vacation cold! :) ;)

I had a GREAT christmas!!! it was so exciting to see Cody open his gifts and he went crazy not knowing which to play with first! :D

I have to share !! My parents got my beautiful Emerald Ring that was the first ring my husband ever bought me repaired - The stone had fallen months ago and I had given it to my mom to hold because I'll be packing to move & knew I couldn't afford to fix it just now - so......they surprised me with it for Christmas .....My mom AND dad were crying when I opened it - then of course so was I - I never expected them to do that & it looks just as beautiful as the day my husband bought it - so my Christmas was VERY special :) :) :)

Our gifts are having family to celebrate with -

I'm sorry you didn't have a good Christmas but it's whats in our hearts that counts....I didn't have $$ this year to do what I wanted for others either ....but I bet your family would have if they could have.....

I don't know how old you are but when you get to be 40 'something' :) health and family become so much more important than 'things'.....if you have family that loves you - you're already blessed.

Happy New Year and maybe 2008 will be better for you ?

Bring on 2008, because 2007 was rough. Christmas was nice, although loved ones were missed...but they are all in my thoughts and in my heart...always. Happy New Year to all YT'ers...As Ever...

got all I needed by just being with family and friends. Oh yes, the gifts were good also.

The babies got more gifts than I did though. But they look so cute!
