This doesn't surprise me. I am so glad that we got an RV. Our own bed, linens, dishes.

And we too are getting another RV. THis is one reason we like to stay in the Marriott. They are exceptionally clean.

Yea, I never drink out of the hotel glass!! Always have a bottle of water with me, just to be safe....

OH I know me too but I was still totally grossed out and not to mention the part where she goes in the bathroom with her gloves on and comes out wearing them still - EWWWWWWWWWWWWW GROSS!!! :eek: :eek:

the hotel i was in this weekend had plastic disposable glasses individually wrapped in cellophane.

Funny, our homeschool group just sent this link around! I am glad that most places use teh individual plastic cups now. AND we always spray w/ Lysol (linens, floor, towels, etc)....I'm a freak that way!

I miss our RV.....I think I may show this to DH and make a list of all the things we do to get our hotel room ready....maybe that will be enough to justify getting another!!! :xfingers:

Well, DH has been missing ours - we sold it last Fall - so, I think I can work it to my advantage for him to really see how much it is NEEDED!!! :thumbup:

Omg, my boyfriend and I stayed at the Embassy Suites just last month :eek: I think I would expect that from a low-end hotel/motel...but at a nice hotel, everything just looks so nice and clean (or so I thought). Never again will I use those cups!!

This doesn't surprise me. One time we stayed in a Red Lion near Sea World, and I made coffee in the little coffee maker included in the room. I swear that coffee tasted like pine sol. Now I know that is how they must have cleaned the cups, coffee maker, or both.

Also, if you ever see maid service go by, you'll see they don't have 200 bedspreads to change over, so you know those same bedspreads are staying in the room--if they change over the sheets. Now with a little imagination, I'm sure you can think of what you might find on those bedspreads...

UGH...BARF...BARF..BARF...ha, ha!! :confuse2: :confuse2:

My hubby is always making fun of me for bringing my own sheets and blankets and wearing flip flops in the rooms and even to shower. Now after watching that video he says he is glad I bring all our stuff - ha, ha!! :p
