Use to work out Religiously... until i started working full-time.. I want to get back into it.. but i'm having a hard time finding some motivation lol.. i usually would do cardio 5 times a week.. with added weight training.. it was awesome.. when i started i think i was 140 pounds.. and then in a few months went down to 115.. but i have some extra tub around the belly LOL.. so im wanting to just get toned.. i wish i could have that jessica alba body  .. |
My youngest is soon to be 21 & I have worked out on a regular basis since she was born. I run 3 miles, 6 days a week & do my "Jane Fonda" video (by memory) for 45 mintues while I watch the "Today" show each morning - I think it is the best ab workout I have ever found. We also walk our dogs every evening for 45-60 min. I give myself NO excuses to miss - I just do it because I feel better. I have noticed the last few years that my body is a little more tired, but I keep on - I will be 50 next year - I just figure if I don't stop, I'll never have to worry about getting started again! Consistency has worked for me! |
 work out? :lol tears |
Is watching a yorkie and a snoodle a work out. Because I have to run everywhere to get them. They are so hyper. And I am so slow! :p  :p  :p |

ahahahhhahahahahha I just about died of laughter when I read your post/ saw your comment :D I'm the same way now. The only exercise I get is when I lug three loads of laundry twice a week. There's only 2 humans in the house, mind you. But my husband seem to skin like a snake. Clothes everywhere the closet and bedroom. I use to do Yoga religiously but like any other exercise I've done, I get bored with it after a few months. |

Yeah the Carmen Electra video is the one that I am talking about. When you watch it you just have to get past her ditsy ways and it is a good work out. Good luck with the Boilermaker. I have heard about it before. I have been thinking about doing the marathon at Disney also but not sure because of all the traveling that that requires and I am not too sure that I could be at top performance with not being able to sleep in my own bed and all that. But I am willing to give it a shot. |
i've heard so much about the Carmen Electra Striptease workout.. that i have just Ordered it  :lol tears lol |
Another workout tape that I have heard is really good but I haven't tried is is some belly dancing one. A friend of mine has it and I am trying to find it. I guess it teaches you how to belly dance and gives you a really great workout. Im all for anything that helps me to keep my belly flat. And I am always looking for new videos so that I dont get bored with the ones that I have. |

Carmen is very ditsy in the video so beware. The first few times you watch it she might annoy the crap outta you. I know she did me. But just do that workout and ignore her stupidness and you should be good. Now that I have learned to ignore her, I love the workout. |
4 Attachment(s) has anyone thought about doing hula? i dance hula for guam in las vegas guam liberation and let me tell you girls it works! it is hard at first until your muscles get usto it but it is really fun i attatched some pics for you guys when my group performed last year...i'm the short one with the bob hair cut :) |
I have a friend who goes to CUrves and she likes it, but really hasn't lost any weight. I went with her once and didn't even break a sweat. So I think it is Great for some people and not so good for others. Also, congrats to those of you who have lost weight by working out, man I wish I had that much willpower! |

i feel funny doing the moves though.. but it's fun when i'm alone haha. and go all out lol.. but she is sooo ditsy i cannot believe how funny it is.. i'm still trying to stop laughing at times and trying to concentrate.. :p now im thinking about getting that ab lounge along with working out to the 5 videos.. sound like a good idea Kelly? |
I haven't exercise in awhile. My doctor keep insisting that I will start feeling better if I exercise, is just so hard cause Im in pain 24/7. :( |

yeah sounds like a plan to me. GIve it a shot. Let me know how it works out for you. |

It actually might help you feel better over time. I know when I had my shoulder surgery it hurt like hell until I got it moving and working on getting strength back in it. Just remember though that it will hurt, possibly more than now the first couple of workouts. GO slow and work your way into more. And good luck. :) :) |

Domino's Pizza, too? Hmm... Well, we have awesome pizza in Chicago - and so do you in NYC for that matter, so I guess we don't have to miss Domino's too much, right? I just can't see myself paying someone who is going to donate to organizations that I would die protesting against. if that makes sense... |
