Let's go with the positive approach..
 
Sometimes called the Ostrich Approach, sometimes thought of as a river in Egypt. WHATeverrrrrrr...

Layla is FINE. She is hiding out at an animal lovers home eating gourmet treats and having her belly rubbed while she tries to dodge the "spay bullet". (They can smell a vet visit a mile away!)

These kind animal lovers will take fabulous care of her and do everything possible to find her mom & dad. They are just as concerned as we are. Meanwhile, they are cooing to her and telling her you will be reunited soon, ever so worried about her emotional state. But they are also responsible enough to convince her that spaying is best for her. And she appreciates their oppinon! (Kids NEVER listen to their parents!)

She's going to come home and be even more appreciative of her parents than ever!! She now understands that you only want what is best for her.

Now keep reading this over and over and refuse to believe anything else! It's what I'm doing!!!!

Between prayer and positive thoughts, there is room for nothing else!! We just have to let the whole universe in on this!!! It's powerful!

She doesn't exactly find your dog! Her Yorkie was missing for 8 days and then she found her. She told me that she learned so much about how to look, where to look, and how to get other people to help that she would share that information with anyone who lost their dog. She is just a very loving doggy person and doesn't want to see anyone go through what she went through for those 8 days. She just gives you lots of tips that work.

i would like to go to that river but for me it is all dried up right now!! i've been reading it over and over and its a very good point but its not helping me!! :( i'm soooo sad i hope her daddy finds her and she won't have to spend the night with the "loving animal lovers". of course this is a very possible thought. or maybe she just went away for the night to ahve a little sleep over to see if you forgot about her vet visit being so worried about her. and tomorrow you will open the door to get the morning paper and she will be sitting there with a very cute look on her face. then she will come in wagging her butt acting like she never went anywhere and didn't scare the you-know-what outta all of us!!!

Come on Megan... For the moment maybe it will help. Let's keep praying and thinking positive thoughts. You usually seem to be so postive that your thoughts will really, really have some power!! If we could all go out looking for her I know we would. Meanwhile, let's expect the best!!!

sounds good thanks i'll be praying defenatly. if there was ever a time on this thread where the power of prayer didn't work a miracle i'd be amazed. between joe, midge's grandfater, and a bunch of other times, i'd say that's about the strongest thing we can do! oh if i lived closer to elizabeth i'd be out looking in the dark if i had to.

Just hang in there. I think she will come home. My niece's 3 month old beagle pup got out of my sister's fenced in yard. She was gone for two nights and whole day. They posted flyers and called all the shelters with now luck. They left the gate to the yard open in hopes she would come home and wouldn't you know on Sunday morning when my brother inlaw went outside too check there she was running up the steps to great him.

I posted as soon as I found out she was missing and I believe she is home because of everyone's prayers. I know we will all be doing the same for you.

Does Cinder know where she is? I know it might be a long shot, but my Lab used to know exactly where everyone was. we would say "where's david?" (my brother) she would go show us where he was. Maybe Cinder could at least show you which way she went when she took off?

No news on Layla yet. I'm going to call the radio stations this morning. I really think she will come back. Cinder doesn't know where she went either. Andy took Cinder looking for her and no luck. Thanks for all your prayers!
