Vick gets 23 months
 
Do you think that is a fair punishment. I think he should have gotten more time. It was really a bad thing he did, and I don't think 23 months cuts it.

On the one hand, no, it's no where near enough time, and I think he should have gotten the max sentence. On the other hand, I am surprised and happy that he got SOME time, kwim? A lot of celebrities get off without so much as a slap on the wrist, and they go back to doing the same thing again. Hopefully it will deter your so-called "average joe" from from doing the same.

With good behavior it's only THREE MONTHS!
There is no parole in Federal Prison but you can get a lesser
senticening for good behavior.

Why was the book not thrown at him?
He states he's sorry but did you expect him to say he enjoyed it?

Im surprised he got that long..even though I dont think it was nearly enough..Whether or not he completes his entire sentence is a whole other story!

hes going to be broke after all of this which kinda scares me cause what if he does it again to get more money
i think he should have gotten alot longer but im also surprised he even got that long

Sounds fair to me. How many months do you think the average person gets for dog fighting? Probably none.

What is even more fair is how he is screwed for life. He has lost SO much money and no one is going to want to deal with him once he gets out.

And no.. he isn't going to get out early. Federal doesn't work that way.

That's exactly what I was thinking Kyle. Is it right and is that all he deserves? No, not in my opinion. Is it more than most average Joe's get for the same crime? Yep, so I'm glad he's at least got to serve some time.

And I do think it's at least a bit more comforting that yes, his life, career, and endorsement days will never rebound from this, so in a way, his "life" has been ruined completely...that is, the life he knows. Maybe that will set an example to others of 'this is what happens.'
