Board Games for 2 age groups I am looking at getting my little cousin who is in third grade, she is 9 and her sister who is 4 a board game for christmas that they both can enjoy.. any ideas ? |
:) A favorite of ours is Guess Who. Or one of the scene it games. |
are these too pre school for a 8-9 yr old to play with a 4 yr old: Candyland Chutes & Ladders In a Pickle Yahtzee Tip It Chutes & Ladders Dora Edition? |
HI Ho Cherrio? |
Sorry - was always a popular choice at my house Operation - that is sooo fun Antz in my Pants - I think that's what's called Don't Spill the Beans - no counting, just fun involved :p |
Oh I forgot about Operation! Yes, I think Santa is bringing my daughter that one!;) Before I buy any game, I have to think to myself, "How badly am I going to want to shoot myself after a few hours of having to play this...?":p |
My boys are 6 and 4 and they love board games! Their faves are: Guess Who? Candyland (Disney Edition) Chutes and Ladders (Sesame Street Edition) Balloon Lagoon Trouble Uno Sorry (Disney Edition) Yahtzee (Disney Edition) Connect 4 Operation Scrabble Junior (Disney Edition) HaHa, I guess we love Disney!! |
I second the suggestions for Sorry! It is fun for all ages and not to hard for the four year old to learn. |
My grandson just received Scene It, Nickelodeon addition, for his birthday. I played with all 3 kids (ages 4, 6, 9 & grandma's 50+) it was grand. Even the 4 yr old knew some of the answers. The 6 yr old won!!! You need a DVD player on the TV to play on some of the questions, the rest are on cards. |
