Good Morning YT'ers!!
Hope that y'all are healthy and happy this morning!
Lots to do today. I finished my dessert for a Christmas party this morning. I also started to make candy last night and I have to "dip them" this morning. Later, after a trip to the post office, I hope to do a little gift wrapping. It will be a busy day, but I would much rather be home and busy than at work (which happens sometimes).
I am starting to think that everyone is ready for the holidays but me!!!!! :eek: I still have so much to do.... shopping, wrapping, baking, Christmas cards........ UGH!!! (of course it is very important that I spend a little time on YT for some sanity!! :D )

Good morning everyone, A bit of a sad day for me, my dear mother would of turned 72 today:( She is with god and the angels now, She was a wonderful mother & friend I miss her dearly, I love you mom:lovewings :lovewings :lovewings Have a great day everyone. hugs

Well, I guess there are more "morning" people than just me. I am up about this time every single day...my body just doesn't know how to sleep late....late for me would be maybe 7am. You are NOT the only one behind in getting ready for the holidays. I feel very behind this year...I have no christmas lists from the people I have to buy for, so very little shopping done, my daughter is in Alaska this year; that'll be new in getting gifts to her...hopefully on time for Christmas, as well as our 1st Christmas without her here, and my baking has yet to begin. We've been kept busy tending to and socializing Lexie's 4 rambunctious puppies which will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. We have found a forever home for one of them so far and are also busy in our search for homes for the others. Today amongst all the things I just mentioned to get done, we will be babysitting for our two 6 and 7 yr old grand-daughters and our 2 yr old grandson. Hmmmm, wonder if we'll get anything done today? I think not!:D Anyway, everyone have a great Saturday, weekend, and holiday season!:xmastree:

I'm sorry about your Mom. Happy B'day to her. I just lost my Mom 10/8/07 and she would have been 76 on Dec 1st. I'm still so sad and miss her dearly. :lovewings

Good Morning everyone!

I sitting here drinking my second cup of coffee! It's FREEZING out! I am going to be going out in a bit to have my nails done then back home to put up some christmas decorations. It's a nice day to stay in with a cup of hot chocolate and sit by the fire!

I just finished my first cup of coffee, let the pups out and back in quickly,(its freezing here too) and I am pondering about what to buy my grand kids for Christmas. I will buy mostly online because the kids live in California and I can ship online. I think then I'll play with the pups in the snow for awhile and maybe build a fire in the fireplace.... good day to wrap a few presents I think.

I havent had but desperately need my coffe...so I guess my YT addiction is stronger. I will spoil myself with a beautiful mid morn latte when I go out.
It will be worth the wait.
I have some shopping to do for a gift exchange at a party tonight. I have not bought one Xmas present :eek:
I went to the mall yesterday to get my hair trimmed and of course to visit SEPHORA:D :D :D :D
It was not too traumatizing. I would never ever go to the mall on a weekend.
Esp. the closest one to me because parking is insane.
Perhaps I will do some internet window shopping to get ideas.
I like to have somewhat of a plan before I get out there.
I really only have to shop for my stepdaughter who is 17:rolleyes:
Last year she got a new Jetta and coach purse and wallet and tons of clothes.
I dont see us topping that this year so Christmas wont be as exciting to her I am sure. He dad realized how spoiled she was so we spent Thanksgiving morning feeding the homeless. that was a true eye opener for her!
hmm who knows maybe she will think differently this year!

I bet you would be fun.. but I cant afford another daughter!
Although, She got a job as a model at Abercrombie. .. If nothing else for the discount!
She only works 4 hrs a week but gets a huge discount.
Prior to this job she only shopped at Hollister or Abercrombie cus she is tiny..or sometimes Abercrombie and Fitch...Recently she has discovered TARGET!!! Now that she is paying for some things suddenly Target is THE place to shop:eek: its not fair...really its not!

I know exactly what you mean. I have 2 daughters in their 20's. When they were younger, they loved Abercrombie, Gap, ........etc. NOW they are married and both of them shop at Target and Kohls!! :p

Good Morning! I just signed on to see what was going on here. I had a nice surprise in my inbox. someone has gifted me with a donating member ! I'm sitting here listening to christmas music on lite 96.1 and Cody James is sleeping. I wore him out this morning we went for a walk and played in the yard, then i brushed him and now he is my little angel sleeping!
no plans for me today... just sitting around.

This morning I am driving 2 hrs to Los Angeles to go to my daughters first cheer competition of the year. This is her 7th or 8th year doing competitive cheer. I am so sick of it, but she loves it so...:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Today is the last day I will spend in my 20s. Tomorrow I will be the big 3-0!:eek:
But I am going to be doing it right tonight! I'm not going to be leaving my 20s quietly...

Good morning everyone! It's bright and early on the west coast. Not even 9am. Totally unreasonable time to be out of bed.

Oh well, I always get up at 8am on weekends to take Jesse out for his usual morning walk. Check in on YT and it's back to bed for a few more hours.

Thank you for your birthday wishes! You are in my thoughts today. I lost my mother when I was 13 and her birthday is always a tough day for me, year after year. I'm sure you have many beautiful memories to think of on this day. Hang in there!
