I finally did it!!!! Ok so I've been wanting to file a cruelty report on someone but would never do it but today I finally did! :D I work for a mortgage company and its in a residential area so I have to go thru a neighborhood. In one of the houses there is this poor little dalmation chained to a tree. It has this dog house (which seems small for the dog to go in) and two bowls for food and water; although I don't think it has either one. The dog is real skinny and it breaks my heart everytime I go pass there. NO matter what the weather conditions were the dog is outside in the front yard and there is no fence. But today I finally filed the cruelty report and hopefully it will be taken seriously and an investigation will be started. It's getting cool at night and I can not imagine that poor baby outside in the cold.:( I feel so proud of myself. :p |
That is great that you are trying to help this poor dog. I think everyone should report any abuse or neglect they see. Maybe the owners will give up the dog and it will find a new home where it is treated better. I know a lot of people really don't want a dog and if authorities come knocking on their door, threatening to take them to court they will sign the dog over. I see it all the time in my job. If the authorities don't do anything just keep complaining and they will be forced to do something. Good for you!!!!!! |
Way to go! |
I haven't heard of having to file a cruelty report. I thought all that you need to do when you see something like that was to call animal control. They come out to investigate. I'm glad you finally did something for that poor dog and I hope it get's taken from them and given a wonderful home. Just in time for Christmas I hope. Bless you for saving a life. |
Awwww:cry8: That poor baby! I hope that furbaby gets treated better!!! |
