I made a HUGE MISTAKE!! Help! I promised my neice & nephew a Christmas present.... Little did I know..... I can't find any Nintendo Wii...!!!! Anyone in the retail industry know when the stores are going to get more? I will camp out over night to be the first in line for one. Help!!! No way can I afford what is being sold on eBay! |

LOL. You're in the same spot I was in last year. I was getting the Wii for my oldest son and I couldn't find one anywhere. WalMart kept telling me there were more coming in but they couldn't tell me when. I would just have to keep coming back.:( I did sit outside a Target for several hours in the cold. (something I said I would NEVER do) When they finally handed out the numbers, they stopped 2 short of me. :( Everyone in line had a good time though.:D I ended up giving my son an IOU till after Christmas when they came in. He was so excited. (He was 21!) The anticipation was fun to watch. I got one in January and wrapped it up and called my son and told him I had something he wanted.... he was over to the house pretty darn fast. It was almost worth the wait to see how excited he was.:) I hope you can find one, though. If your niece and nephew are young, they may not be as willing to wait! |
Corinne, You can do it. You have to be vigilant though. They will show up periodically at Best Buy, Target, and Circuit City. You have to be there when BB and CC opens, but for Target, you call everyday about 8:30am and ask if they got the wii's in. Be ready to run down there asap. Good luck! |
I do know that Wal Mart recieves 25 per week. None of the employees know for sure when until the truck comes in. You just have to keep checking. I was lucky, my niece worked at Wal Mart and got one for me. Do you have family or friends that work in any stores? |
Everyone I know that has one has gotten it at Target. We got one at 8:30 on a Friday night a few months ago, and they had 3 of them. Don't freak out, you'll find one! |
Corrine, alot here had luck at Target too. I'll check ours and let you know. Sheryl and Eric got there's for the kids last year and it was on special order and they got it a week after Christmas but they knew that when they ordered. |
