That was very nice, and it is a Christmas tree and always will be.

I don't think I've ever heard of it called a holiday tree before.

Amen!!! CHRISTmas Tree!! last year when that battle was going on. all the stores here in my town called them holiday trees. and a lot of people refuse to buy from those stores.
it's sad what this world is becoming.

Here's one I received from one of my teacher's the other day....

*Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen*
*On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton!*
*At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter*
*To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.*
*And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith*
; * Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace*

*The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded*
*The reason for the season, stopped before it started.*
*So as you celebrate "Winter Break" under your "Dream Tree"*

I still say:::

"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS"

I think Wal-Mart was under fire last year for calling it a "holiday tree" and not wishing people a Merry Christmas/Season's Greetings...NOTHING last year - or they were in my area anyway............this year, I noticed that they are playing holiday music and saying "Merry Christmas", and selling more Christian items. I know that we should all respect everyone's own beliefs and thoughts, but I am glad to see that Christmas is still a HOLIDAY that is being celebrated!!!!

I like that! I say Happy holidays because i respect everyone's religions, hannakuh, christmas, etc. Although i celebrate Christmas:D My brother was telling me yesterday how on christmas eve we are having dinner at his house and he wants no gifts 'cause he said everyone has forgotten what christmas is all about and it should be about celebrating Jesus' bday and family, not buying presents.
