I don't know if anyone I know was hurt or killed yet..it is still to early.

Please keep the Families in your thoughts and Prayers.

OMGosh...I had heard about this horrid tragedy earlier today. It hit much too close to home for you! It is so sad knowing all the people who are mourning lost loved ones, for something so senseless. I'm sure glad you weren't at the mall! *HUG*

I have been watching about this all day. How absolutely horrific.

Yes It is the one time I can say I was Glad to be at work. But as I said.. that SOB:mad: lived close to my work like 5 blocks..

I am still kinda Freaking out Thinking how it could have really easily been done at our shopping mall I work at.:(

You work in a shopping mall? No kidding, it could have easily been that location. I wonder how these lunatics decide on a place to do their killings. I'm so glad to know you and Brea are safe, but my heart aches for the victims, their families,and also the shooter's family. Can you imagine how they must feel knowing their son did that.

Well It is a strip mall unlike the indoor one her shot up. but I work right behind the MD that fired him. I have also been in tears all night thinking about all the pain the families are going though.. it is just so sad.:(

When I was in middle school, I was shopping in the mall with my mom, sister, and best friend. We had been looking at a computer in the front of the Radioshack store. I wanted to go next door to Claire's before we had to leave the mall, but my sister was being a pain and wouldn't leave the computer alone :rolleyes: I finally got her to go to Claire's with me. A couple minutes later we heard gunshots...there was a gang shooting and people were shot in Radio Shack...and we were just in there. It still scares me to think what could have happened if we hadn't left that store.

I heard this on the news today and knowing you lived there was worried, im glad you and your are ok. I feel so sorry for those and their familys.

I will pray. I saw it on the news and you're the only person i know that lives in Nebraska. I'm so glad you're okay! I can't believe he did that!

Wow that was Scary I am Sure.
When I was in High School, Freshmen year we had a shooting at my school. 1 died and 2 were hurt pretty bad. I was right next to the shooter. It was and still is the worst thing ever to happen to me. I Hate guns I am So scared of them.. I shake really bad when they are near.

I saw this on the news as well. It is so sad how tragic this is. I just don't understand some people! :confused: I am glad you and your family and loved ones are all ok. Prayers being said. :animal-pa

There are a few members here and JeanieK lives Right across the river too. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight...:(

How horrible. These kinds of things seem to be happening more and more often.

It\'s bad enough for the families to endure the deaths, but just before the holidays seems worse somehow. You wonder if those families will ever be able to enjoy the Christmas season again.

Lori, I know it is a shock for you and your soft heart aches for those families... try not to dwell too much on how they are feeling. It won\'t do anyone any good and you will just get more upset. We can pray for them and maybe people in the area can do some small kindess for the families.

I\'m just so glad that you and your family are safe. If you need to vent here... go ahead, ok?
