I got a Wii!! I got a Wii!! Waited for 3 hours in line!!
 
My kids really want a wii for Christmas, so much that they all put it on their list and took everything else out, and as some of you know it's become very hard to find them, well I went to the military store(px) today and wainting outside before the store opened for 30 minutes, and then inside the store for another 2 1/2 hours!!:eek: :eek: They got 12 in and were gone within 3 minutes:eek: I am not kidding................I got the first one:D :D What is it with this wii??? oh well at least I got one:D :D

Congratulations! I know just how hard they can be to get we were lucky and my sister found one for us last week and I was sooooo excited!!!!!!! Can't wait to see the kids on Christmas morning!

I thought people were exaggerating when they said how hard it was to get but I guess not:rolleyes: :rolleyes: During the summer they had alot all the time:rolleyes:. Congrats to you too on finding the wii:D

Congrats! I was going to buy one too, but decided to buy a yorkie instead! =) will be picking him up next week =) yay!

I was sooooooooooooo lucky a few weeks ago I walked into walmart and there was our wii sitting behind the glass..lol...I dont know how anyone missed it but I sure didnt!! Thank goodness you got one after standing in line so long!! Why do these companies not make more around Christmas time?? They would make a ton of money!!

Congrats!! Your kids will love it!!

We got our Wii the first day it came out last winter. We had to stand in line outside the store in the freezing cold for about 3 hours and they only gave 12 out but we got one. It is a lot of fun and quite addicting.

JMO but I really think it's the people who are buying them up and selling them on ebay that is causing the shortage because during the summer and up until Nov I saw them everywhere that's why I wasn't too worried about there being a shortage and now that christmas is getting closer they are harder and harder to find and more and more are listed on ebay.

Yes I agree...Im not sure why people would buy one one ebay and pay double..if people stopped doing that then people wouldnt be grabbing them all up at the stores..there should be a limit also as to how many people can buy at Christmas time...

I just checked ebay..there are...GET THIS...10,182 wii's on ebay as of right now??? And people are willing to pay 100-200 more than what they would pay in the stores...I guess unless people stop doing that then it wouldnt be worth it for people to sell on ebay...its a vicious cycle it is it is!!

Congratulations. Now that you have that, here's a great deal for some games. Toys r us is having a deal in store only. Buy Mario Galaxy for the wii for $49.99, and get any other game for 50%. Then on top of that, open their credit card and get 15% off. I got two $49.99 games for $68 after tax. This would have been $108 with tax regular price!!!
