Husbands attending the YT meetup
 
I am just wondering how many of you that are hoping to go to Kansas City for the meetup will be accompanied by your husbands? Anyone????

Well, my husband is coming to KC with me but doubt very much he attends the YT stuff since we have family there. I will probably be attending with my WONDERFUL sister in law.

I was hoping that if my hubby goes, he won't be the only one sitting in the lounge/bar, having a few drinks, watching the ballgames!... I am sure that he would accompany me to somethings, but he definitely would need a break from all the "Yorkie Stuff", too! :p

I know what you mean...I thought about it, but then thought that I'd be "YT CRAZY" meeting everyone and their dogs, and he would be bored and think I'm a total YT whack ;) Plus, I've decided to bring only one of my dogs, so he's going to stay home with the one that doesn't get to come with me :rolleyes: I wish I could bring them both, but two is a lot for me to handle on my own.

Chuck went to Yorkie Fair in Michigan with me last year and he wants to go this year. He goes to quilt shows & fabric stores with me also. What a guy!

It would be really hard for me to go with only 1 of mine. I know how much they both like to socialize, and it just wouldn't be fair!! Shelby is "Mom's girl" but Seymour (who is more of my hubby's dog) loves to do what Big Sissy does!!!!

Chuck sounds like Matt, my DH. Matt will be coming with me, he thinks it'll be fun. It's a plus he loves fur butts as much as myself, though. I'm blessed. :)

My boyfriend is coming...because I HATE driving so the 14 hour trip would be no fun....My dad has been making jokes about it, because my dad doesn't think yorkies are anything but pests. (:eek: WHAT? No, not Beau...:D ) Ryan (bf) acts like he doesn't wanna go...but he seemed pretty easy to convince when I brought it up...:D

My BF is coming, of course! He's from KC and it'll be a year and a half that he hasn't been home in June, so he's excited! He says he'll be gambling/doing the bar thing/watching baseball games, but I'm gonna make him come to at least PART of the yorkie festivities :p

I'm hoping that I can attend this event (not sure yet) but if I do attend....hubby not going...lol....he would be left all alone cause I'll be going nuts meeting all of you and your furbutts! Oh yeah...forgot the most important thing...shopping!:eek: ..and he hates that...he's one of those guys who can go to Target for just one thing and walk outta there...what's wrong with that man???:confused: :confused: :confused:

I'm hoping to go and if I do, I'm hoping my husband will go also. He hates being away from Max and I want to stay in KC (or the area) for a week to explore MO since I've got friends in Jefferson City.

I am not sure yet......he will more than likely NOT go, but it just depends....if he doesn't go, I know my MIL and daughter will be with me....and we might carpool w/ some other area YTer's.

I am coming, probably just with Sissy, and the hubby will stay home. He also doesn't get into all the yorkie meet-ups and we have lots of local ones too!!

My hubby wouldn't enjoy it! Then I would feel miserable! He thinks I am nuts over this little fur baby!!!! So it will just be me, but am looking for someone to carpool with from the area!!

Bruiser isn't very good with meeting new yorkies (or any other dog for that matter) so I think hubby is going to stay home with him. So it will probably just be myself and Marcus Aurelius. :p
