Oh I am so glad the docs are optimistic about her recovery! I will be praying for her! I don't know how I missed this story in the news... I always watch the GSP news up here in Asheville. |
It could be a long recovery, but she's going to make it. God has his arms around her. Joy, Nikki and Baby Chloe Rose :animal-sm :aimeeyork |
My family is in Greenville... I'll tell my mom to start a prayer circle down there. My thoughts and prayers are with you. |

UPDATE:...Monday evening...July 4th...Samantha is doing well. Originally she could feel or move nothing. Today she can feel "almost" everything (still a few 'blank' places with no sensation)...and she can lift her arms slightly with uncoordinated movements....nothing in the fingers..yet. She can raise her left knee slightly (GREAT SIGN!) but nothing in the right leg. Sammy will be having surgery late Tuesday afternoon or evening to stabalize the fracture and remove some bone fragments. AND........ My daughter is having gallbladder surgery in the am (tuesday)....so.....Tuesday is going to be "one of those days"....... ......."momma said there'd be days like this...." Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers...I'm going to get some sleep! |
Even more prayers coming your way... Just know people will be with you in spirit tomorrow. PS. My mom just had her gallbladder removed Friday down in Greenville. I was worried that she was getting done on Friday (of a holiday weekend no less!) but it was outpatient and she was home in a couple of hours and is doing really well. Says she's sore, but not even enough for meds. I surely didn't get that from her! I'm a WIMP!! So make your daughter lots of pudding and jello, and I'm sure she'll be fine. |
Bump!!! Hey, :wavey: Just wanting to hear that all's well. I was willing you the strength to make it through the day!!! |
