Weight Watchers Is anyone on WW? I really want to try it once all the holidays are over, (I'm afraid I'd cheat), is it pretty easy? I do eat a lot now, it helps calm me after a stressful day, but I don't want to go straight from pigging out to barely eating. I want to take it slowly, but not real slow. I want to see progress. Does anyone do it online? I may like it better online than going to the meetings. |
Im not on Weight wtachers (but really should be LOL) but my aunt is doing it and she has lost 43 pounds in like 5 months. she says it isnt hard to follow but you have to make sure you are ready and you are going to stick to it and not cheat. she said ultimately it will work if you are dedicated... so i chose not to do it LOL hope it helps |
I have the program, but am not on it currently. It's very basic to follow. Basically the better the food is for you, the lower it's points value (usually). Depending on your current weight you get so many points, and 35 flex points a week. As your weight drops, you get less points. You can also do CORE which is where you have a set list of foods you can eat w/o counting points and you still get the 35 flex. It's important to eat all your points and all your flex points per day/week. I used an online forum when I did mine, but I think that going to the meetings would be really informative and helpful. Good luck! |
I have read up on the point system and it sounds really easy to follow. Just curious, if you would go fast food, what do they suggest you order? |

It's nice that you can use the flex points spread out through the week or you can also use them for a weekend where you know you want to eat out. It really IS flexible and easy, it's just a lot of watching portions. I got special measuring cups because everything needs measured and I would take zip lock baggies and portion out the servings and write the points on the bag to make counting easier. You'll definitely need a little notebook or journal to keep track or you can use the WW points bracelet where you move the charm over to track points :) |

Thanks for all of your great advice!!!! It will be so worth the money just to get my self esteem back. Where can I buy the point bracelet at? |

This is the "official" one, but that seller also has a bunch of other pretty ones for less money that work the same way :) Good luck w/WW! I need to get back to it too :) |
I think you'd be better off doing it with a group. You get more support that way. I've never been on it, but I hear it's pretty flexible. Best wishes. |
