Why is it... That i am the only one in my house that actually like the holidays???? I love decorating, i love shopping for ppl, i love making the house pretty and smell Christmassy and i love putting up a tree, i just love the holidays but no one else here does:( My mom got so mad at me today for saying i wish she was more into the holidays, we got in a huge fight. I like when ppl are happy during the holidays and she's not. She just buys me something to get it out the way cause im her daughter, not cause she actually enjoys doing it...ayayay |
My dear, you have the Spirit of Christmas alive in your soul. You are inspiring to me. I was not feeling well last month & just had puppies born yesterday & have not been feeling too festive. I love your joy and spirit. You have things in your life to deal with also but you are looking forward to the Holidays in spite of them. Tomorrow I will start decorating because of your post. You just go on and celebrate, your joy will spill over onto the rest of your family, it worked on me!!!! |

I'm always the only one who has the Christmas Spirit in my house too. The rest are like a bump on a log. I feel sorry for them, because I'm having a good time, and they seem miserable. |
I absolutely love the holidays! I love 'that feeling' you get when the season arrives...I love decorating, cooking and baking, candy making, wrapping presents and the first snow. I love the time spent with family around the table and even cleaning up the mess afterwards. I adore receiving hand made gifts and watching my grandkids, nieces and nephews make a mess all over the living room. That holiday feeling makes everything special for me...now my husband is a different story...he can be a poop but I just stay positive and he eventually starts enjoying it as much as I do! Hang in there...if we all stay positive we can reform the Grinches! |
