Some of the captions were cracking me up. I honestly have to wonder what some of these people were thinking and how they (and their neighbors) can sleep!:confuse2:

Funny! I should send pictures of my Brother and Sister in laws house. They half a$$ put up their lights every year, They put a huge blow up santa claus in their yard and little teany tiny gingerbread men. I wish they had there stuff out I would take a picture and everyone could get a good laugh

I know its my Husbands lazy brother and sister in law so what can you say.
The unfortunate thing is they are our neighbors so we have to look at it. They havent put them up yet so I am hoping they wont:thumbup:

Honestly- most of those look like any average Christmas display to me.

I'd hate to be neighbors with any of those people. :p

ETA: I also have to mention that those inflatable things are the ugliest, worst invention ever!

I'm on the fence about those. Some I think are tacky, some I like. They have the potential to be nice, but only if done with taste and simplicity, which many were not blessed with.:p

Ive seen some cute inflatables also. I saw one that was a large ball and it had something Christmas like scene inside of it and fake snow that falls inside it like a Christmas ball. My Brother in Laws is just ugly though the santa is huge and then they surround it with the tiny gingermen. It just doesnt look balanced

I agree, they are really tacky and the product of a lazy decorator IMOM.

OMG the emails made me laugh harder than the captions(which were pretty freaking funny). Some of those people got seriously offended. I wonder what they expected when they logged onto a site called uglychristmaslights.:p

My parents have a couple of deer in their front yard. Last year, someone came into their yard and "arranged" them so that they were, um.....you know. And my parent's front yard is HUGE, so someone was pretty bold to go all the way up to the house to do this.

Needless to say, Dad was not amused at ALL.

Don't get me started thank God I just saw this thread. I am so anal when it comes to Christmas decorations. I don't let my kids or hubby do them I have to do them and they have to symetrical and match. I have a contest every year in my neighborhood and always win I am VERY competative when it come to Christmas decorations. I just wonder sometimes if people just throw up there lights and where ever they land that is where they stay!:eek: :eek: :eek:
