What to buy a groomer for xmas I read that many ppl buy a gift for their groomer. I never thought about it until now. Any suggestions on what to get? |
its usually along the same lines as a gift for your vet. I work for a vet and we usually get chocolate, coffee, candy, gift cards for starbucks and duncan donuts, cookies, edible arrangement fruit baskets, etc.... |
I feel bad. I didn't know you're supposed to get your vet a gift. Who else am I supposed to get a gift for? |

That is a great idea. I'll have to take a picture of Rosie in a red outfit and send them a card:) |
in the last hospital i worked for we hung all the cards all over the office. it was cute. |
I always give th e groomers candy and the vets office and the er vet since we are there so much. They really seem to appreciate it. The er specialist treating Maya has been woking with me over the phone so I don't have to bring her in so much to keep the cost down after I told her I was going broke with all the tests and visits. |
I have decided to give Ellie's vet a gift (not for Christmas, just because) this year. I will probably give her flowers. |
A picture xmas card and a gift card!!! |
I believe that gift giving works on 3 principles: 1) You give presents to the people you feel you should. 2) You give what you think they will like. 3) You give what you can afford. That being said, if you choose to give your groomer a gift, they have these really cute doggie baskets at walmart for $10. Not too pricey. They come in a really cute bone-shaped basket (which the groomer could use to display products or to store supplies), and inside are shampoo and conditioner, some bows, a toy. They have a few different varieties. Seems like it would be inexpensive, cute, and useful to a groomer. |

Last year, I gave the groomer a jar of homemade pear perserves...she was talking about when she had a big old pear tree on their land, that isn't there now, and how she missed the pears.........it worked out perfectly! |
wow, I never thought to give the vet or the groomer a gift. I do send my own internist and dentist a gift and of course my hairdresser, but that is because i am there so frequently ... Now i shall send a greeting card with the doggie's picture on it ... thanks for the idea ... |
