The surprise was awsome
 
This year I went to my sister's for Thanksgiving. It was the very first
one we spent together ever! I posted earlier that I was going to surprise
her and surprise I did.;)
I rang the door bell and my BIL answered because she was in the kitchen
making a cake. He called her and said it was for her, she yells back who
is it? He says he does not know that they want her, so she comes to
the foyer and screams and holds her chest.:eek: Holy smoke I said don't die
on me. LOL She says what are you doing here? I said I came for Thanksgiving and we both started crying. It was a wonderful surprise.
My kids were as excited as I was. Buddy had a great time. He loves it
there because they spoil him as much as I do.
I just wanted to let all of you know it went great.
We're back and I hope everyone had a great time as well.

How wonderful! Are you going to spend Thanksgiving with her every year now? Family is so important...........well providing they are not the "mommy dearest type". :rolleyes:

Probably not. I have three children and grandchildren who I spend the
holiday's with. So does she but I just wanted to surprise her this year
and make it extra special for both of us. She planned on coming one
year for Christmas but a storm came and she had to cancel. Just
wanted to make a memory for both of us this year.

You go girl - you made her Day and that's the whole purpose of Thanksgiving - I can just see her holding her chest lol

Glad to see you here. Yes, V she did grap her chest and scared the
daylights out of me for a minute. She was fine just shook up so my
surprise was a good one.
Glad things are going better for you. What's it like be a working girl
again? Time will go by fast for you now.

Carol how awesome....I remember you posting that you were going to do that. Wow...she really was surprised and thank goodness she didn't fall over..literally.:eek: What a wonderful Thanksgiving you all had and what memories you will now have. :D

Thanks Carol - I've been working at another company for 3 weeks but this job is more suited to me and better pay and yes - time Flew my first day last week - ....I go in tommorrow... so today I was working on a few Christmas Cards and getting back into 'life' again -

I bet you and your sister were a hoot together

I took her out driving. She's trying to get her driver's licence, test is
in Jan. Better late than never. At 61 now she wants to drive! LOL
Seriously her hubby has had several surgeries and she wants to
depend on herself to get around, hence, licence. Smart move, finally.

She did real good I have to say. Hope she passes.
Yes, we sure had some laughs. It was fun and Buddy loves them to pieces.

Awwww aren't you sweet. I do wish we lived next door to each other but
we don't. So I just felt the need very strongly this year. Instead of crying
about it I just made it happen.

That is a lovely Thanksgiving gift to the both of you, Carol. My kids laugh when I call those moments "memory makers", but they are just that...no gift can replace the minutes or hours spent together.

and V...I am so glad to read that you have been able to find a job that suits you. PS A very beautiful photo of you and remember sweet girl, one day at a time.
