its sad when i hear how people fight. I mean, the deals are great and all, and i LOVE to shop, esp. for deals, but.... thats really not what Christmas is about. :( |
1 Attachment(s) I went out twice with my daughter today and the only purchase that I made was a new bed for Sunnie. Walgreens had $10 beds on sale for $7.99. Her 2 puppies are due on Sunday and I thought that this one looked real comfy. Here she is on the couch with her daddy with the little rats doing backflips in her tummy. Target was deserted tonight at 7, lots of associates just hanging out. |

We got over $300 worth of stuff for $150 bucks!! I was shocked. 150 bucks alone was the original price on the digital camera we bought for my bf's mom. So we did really good today. I was happy, he was happy and we had a good time. Target actually had a lot of Wii's. If I had the extra cash I would have bought one or two of them, and I would have bought the TV that Target had for 550. Other than that. I'm whipped still and I even napped. Oh and I almost forgot I did order a few things online too that should be coming this week. I already have everything I bought wrapped and under the tree. LOL!! I love black friday!!:p |
This year I wasn't going to go but DH said he would go with me so we got to walmart bright and early and were about 6th in line. The things we brought home were Dell Laptop for $388.00 Guitar Hero Guitars for PS2 $30.00 Big bag of Mega Block (for my nephew) $10.00 Couple of pair of pajamas (for my niece and nephew) $5.00 2 LeapPad books $10.00 Sony Cybershot (for SIL) $79.00 Mini Chopper $2.88 I had to make a trip back to walmart but decided to go to the big walmart 30 miles away I'm so glad I did they had the Gutair Hero game!:D Guitar Hero $35.00 Memory stick @ Staples $17.97 Now the only thing I still need to find is a Wii! |

My friend and I did great yesterday! She lives in Austin so I go there each year (to celebrate her birthday also). We never go to Wal-Mart but she wanted to get my girls an MP3 player for Christmas/Birthdays so we went there specifically to check out an ad we saw. It was an 8GB one for $89. Well, after we asked to see that one and found out that it didn't have an FM tuner on it, a lady happened to walk up and ask if they had the 30GB Zune. She had an ad from Toys R Us (I think) and got it price matched. Not sure what the regular price of these are but it was quite a deal. Never expected to be able to get a 30GB one for $79! That lady gave us a copy she had made of her ad and we used to it to get our 2 MP3 players. Then the sales guy asked her (jokingly, maybe!) not to tell anyone else. As we were leaving the register, he asked us to turn the ad over that was laying in our basket so no one else would see it! It was such pure luck that we ran into that lady and she shared her good find with us!! We got quite a few good deals during the day but most of them were at Wal-Mart. We figured since we were already there, we would look for the other things on our list that we had planned on getting at Target. When we went to Target later, we found that just about everything we got at Wal-Mart was way cheaper than what we would have spent at Target! We were quite pleased with how our day turned out. Oh, and I haven't read all the other posts yet so someone may have mentioned this sale but one of my main gifts for my girls are used PS2 games from Game Stop. I was SO happy to find out that they were having a buy 2, get 1 free sale! Saved about $45 there!! |
I got one of those digital picture frames for my dad for only $50....everywhere else they wanted $89 and up. I also got a new sb card and a game for the Wii I'm getting for xmas. My bf got a 40 inch LCD @ BestBuy for $1399 which was regularly $1899. He definately made out on the black friday deal. |
I just got back... we were out of town for Thanksgiving (visiting my daughters). On Black Friday, hubby and furkids slept in hotel while daughters and I shopped (left the hotel at 3:30am).
