I forgot to tell you the funny and crazy things that happened....:) Kohls opened at 4 so we got there at 3:30 and there were about 100 people already there. Joy took some pics so I will have to get them from her, it was so cold that everyone was huddle together, and some guy was smoking, which was hard to tell if he was smoking or just cold breath coming out, anyway he throw his cig down, and somehow the lady a couple of feet from him had a hoody on it landed there, so we are all standing there and you know how it get when your so cold you can't really smell good, someone keep saying they smell smoke and then you could see little flames from her jacket, she wasn't hurt or anything,she took it off really fast and Chris, Joy's guy friend from college was stomping all over this poor womans jacket, he keep telling the girl your on fire and she thought he was joking, then all of a sudden her friend said "your on fire" it wasn't funny at the time, but now it is, we got pics of that too...and a fight broke out over a buggy, so crazy things like that.:) It was a experience for sure...:p

I got the Garmin Nuvi350 GPS system that my dad ordered online for my birthday (on Saturday). It retails for $500+, and we bought it for about $299 at Circuit City. I am so excited because I am the worst person at directions. :rolleyes:

I really got some great deals but I always think was it worth it...when I am dragging the rest of the day:)

I got a late start this yr:rolleyes: but I did get a great deal on large candles, buy 1 get 1, love those:) And the warm fuzzy socks were 2 for 1:) Lol everything i bought was for me:cool:

OMG!!!!!! This is so funny!!!! I just read your post to my DH ....he is laughing too!!! I am sure it wasn't funny at the time but is its really funny hearing about it now!!!! Thanks for the laugh!!

I WAS going to get some computer memory from a VERY popular electronics store, but not after seeing the checkout line! Without going into detail, the checkout line came out into the store and wrapped around no less than 12 isles! No joke! Not worth saving $40.

Wow I can't beat Peanut's (Kim's) funny shopping story at Kohl's but I did get a good deal on the digital camera my son wanted that I got at Dodd's Camera store (they were even the same price at Best Buy so I didn't have to fight that crowd). It was the Nikon Cool Pix 8.1 in limited edition red that sells for $299 that I got for $199.00. Then I hit Bed Bath & Beyond and DSW Shoes and they all had great deals like $10 off shoes and 20% entire purchase. Then I cyber-shopped as well as tons of sites were offering free shipping, etc.

Let's see what Cyber Monday brings us.;)

Sounds like you guys got a lot of good deals. I just stayed home and relaxed.

I'm not sure. I got the TV from Kmart.

I'm not sure- but I bet iPods don't really go on sale because they are so popular and don't really have any competition (that is as popular/big as they are).

Wait until Cyber Monday (which is this Monday) and see if there are any great deals on line...that's the equivalent of Black Friday but for on line shopping. :D

There must have been some out there - I worked at KMart yesterday morning and this morning and I, along with all the other employees, were called every name in the book as supplies ran out. There was a fist fight in the line at Walmart before the doors opened. I have never seen so much shopping-rage before. It was unreal. I worked from 1 - 10 tonite(at lunch right now:D ) and things are much more civilized there, thank goodness. Hope you shoppers had a safe and prosperous shopping trip.

Im in Canada so we dont have black friday...BUT...I have been searching EVERYWHERE for a Wii for the kids without paying the exaggerated prices on ebay..they are sold out EVERYWHERE around here...well low and behold I went to Walmart today and what did I find?? ONE wii sitting behind the glass calling out my name...I thought I would have to wrestle someone to the ground for it..but luckily no one noticed UNTIL she pulled it out then handed it to me..then everyone was asking if there were more!!! So I feel really great that I found it for my kiddo's for Christmas!!!

I bought hubby several pullover button at the neck knit shirts at Mervyns for $2.00 each, (they were $19.99 ea. and me pants and matching blazer for $30.00 (was $80.00) Wal-Mart had 7' lighted Christmas trees for $29.00 but hubby didn't want another tree. We only have two, but he said he has run out of storage room in the garage. I even got a free meal and a rain check for another free meal because the fish I ordered was not cooked the right way (new chef) and the outer crust was really tough.
