Turkey Question :chicken: Happy Thanksgiving :chicken: Okay....I've had a fully cooked, never opened whole turkey (about 12lbs) in my freezer since last Thanksgiving...I bought, but my mother already had one. So.....I was wondering...do you think it would be good for Christmas??? |

Actually, did you say it was cooked?? Honestly, I throw out leftovers after 3 days. I would just get a new one. And don't forget to brine it! :D |
It is a fully cooked frozen turkey...it is a whole turkey and looks like a raw turkey, but it comes fully cooked to save you cooking time on the "big" day. So, we have never opened it or thawed it, etc. If that all makes sense! |
Well, bacteria can't survive above a certain temp, I think 165. They recommend poultry go to 175-180. I suggest you get a meat thermometer :-) It's just a matter of how it will taste. |
