YT Cookbook.... OKay, if anyone has any ideas for the personal pages then let me know ASAP... I have some basic ones but I still think people should be given the chance to make suggestions! I seem to remember there was a thread that was about what YT meant to people... does anyone know where that thread is??? The personal pages are going to be top secret for a while! ;) All ideas will be considered but I'm doing this on a majorly small timescale so to get your idea considered you need to send it ASAP!!!! Come on YTers... lets here your ideas! |

I also thought some "tips and tricks" would be nice, so if anyone wanted to submit a tip or a trick, that would be great! My tip is on "mis behaved yorkies" If you have a mis behaved yorkie, and he is barking, chewing, or begging, try a metal bowl and a spoon, bang the spoon to the bowl and give him a firm "NO" |

If we can submit everything right online to morris and don't have to fill out a bunch of stuff, it may be a possibility that it could be done, but no promises. We are still trying to figure some stuff out and will be calling morris Monday. Quote:

What about sharing favorite YT memories? You'd have to have a thread about that for people to post in though... I like the list of foods that Yorkies should not have/can not have because this would be a helpful list to have handy..and with it being a cookbook too, it kind of fits. How many personal pages are there? Having the measuring eq. page would be good too....there have been times where I've had to look up that information online...so if there was on sheet with that all together, that would be great too! And again, that ties into the whole cookbook idea. I think if you wanted to do small pictures (like the extra pictures on the calendar pages)...you could start a thread asking for extra pictures needed for cookbook....and if people post in that thread, then you know you have their permission to use their photo. Otherwise, I wouldn't just us someone's photo's.... I think anything would be great...those were some some of my thoughts. Sounds like it is going to be great!!! :thumbs_up |

Goodness, I put mine in US as I'm sure others did; but I didn't think about those of you outside the States - we do need to make this clear. Are you thinking of converting all the recipes one way or the other. Well, I guess I would say have US with a conversion chart for the metric -- but you & others outside the states might say the opposite!! Can you tell by whose posted on how many they would buy, I would say if more people in the US are buying cookbooks, then outside, then I would go with US and a conversion chart |

Many of our members joined YT because of the loss of a little one, and I would think the majority of the members have dealt with the pain of losing a precious furbaby, so I think it's appropriate that they be acknowledged so their memories will be remembered by everyone who has a cookbook. It's also a way to bring the members closer together. |
