White Tigers-Tragedy!
 
I never knew how terrible the breeding of white tigers was until I randomly stumbled across a youtube video tonight. I just wanted to pass this information along because it really touched me and I think the more people who know about it, the better!

Wow. I had no idea. I feel so bad now for even appreciating their beauty. Because their beauty wasn't their idea. It was forced upon them at the expense of so many of their brothers and sisters. Thanks for sharing.

I had no idea either until I heard about it on the radio recently.:( They were also talking about the tigers and other animals at the zoos...how many of them are inbred. Apparently, circus animals are treated cruely and are abused horribly. The guy on the radio who was talking about it said that once he finished his investigation into all this, it made him never want to take his children to the circus again.:(

I'll never go to a circus again, that's for sure! Especially if they advertise a white tiger...

I think it's terrible that they inbreed them so much. I don't understand how anyone could be so heartless to an animal.

I did not know inbreeding causes the tigers to be white. But I do not believe in using animals in a circus. I never took my kids to a circus. I told them the animals were not treated well so they didn't want to go either.

Oh my gosh! I am in tears now! I had no clue! This brought back memories of Disney world,my son was 8 then and was mezmorized by the tigers (no white that I remember, all well taken care of)romping @ swimming,playing together, after hours of watching I finally convinced him to go to another attracttion or ride.

That's good to hear. I know Angie and I will never support a circus, and we will never go to a zoo that has white tigers either. Maybe if enough people boycott those who propagate this monstrosity it can end!!
