You know what I did Well.....I had been thinking of it for years...in fact did a consultation in the early 90's....but, could not afford it then........so this time....I set up another consultation on a Sat. I went in talked to the educator.....turned to hubby and said...."what do you think?" and he says...."sounds good to me, and yu have been wanting it for a long time....so go for it!!" So I did! I did not give myself much time to worry......since I had already thought about it for so long I knew it would only cause me more delay ......and they did it that day! But, I admit....I scrutinized every person that came and left the office to see if they looked in pain or not.....all of them were smiling..!!!! So, I recommend that you go in for a consultation......get the cost.....and then make it work.....you will be so glad you didi!!! And NO I do not sell Lasix services......:):) |

How "bad" is your vision? Everyone says they're blind, but I typically jealous of their prescription. :D I've worn glasses since 3 years old and got soft contacts when they came out. So I'm afraid my eyesight might be too bad also. Is there a name of the soon-to-be-available surgery that I can look into? |

I had the surgery 2 years ago and am so glad I did! My vision was terrible...8.50 and 8.75. Glasses since first grade and then hard contacts when they came out and then soft when they came out. I wasn't sure if they could fix my vision completely but it is still an amazing 20/25!! Can't complain! I would recommend it to anyone! |
I had my eye surgery a few years ago and have never regretted anything except for having waited so long. My vision was so bad that I needed my glasses to find my glasses, LOL. Wore contacts for a few years and hated them. I did/do have a problem with dry eyes and so my vision would get a bit worse as the day progressed and to drive at night, I wore glasses. It was funny in that if I took a nap, or at least closed my eyes for an hour or so...perfect vision once again! I have since had the plugs put it my tear drain ducts and don't need the glasses at all. If anyone is considering this, don't waste time. Go for it! You'll be thankful you did. |
my brother had this done, like i said before-he is only 20 years old..and his eyes were soo bad!! serisously HORRIBLE!! his vision was-9.5 before his initial surgery!! poor thing..:( Anyways-he had the first surgery done about 3 months ago-and i took him today for a touch up procedure(which they figured they would probably need to do, cuz his eyes were so bad) They basically did the same procedure just not as invasive(im guessing?) He is SO SO happy he did it.. it sersiously changed his life(no more contacts everyday, glasses at night, not to mention being literally blind if he didnt have his glasses/contacts in) like the others said before..most definately DO IT, if you can!! ..and Christmas is coming up!!?-hehe.):p;) (oh yeah..i dont know if anyone ever watched Newlyweds-nick&jessica..when it was on MTV a couple years ago?? well anyways.. there is an episode where jessica gets her eyes lasered with her assistant casey, and they went to the same doctor my brother did-kinda random huh. haha. the guys office is soooo nice and so is everyone that works in there as well-;)) |
