If ..... You see a post by someone new and there's only a few responses, why not take a minute and post in their thread? I think it makes people feel bad, especially if they are new, when hardly anyone responds to their post. |

I know I always try to do this. But it never hurts to remind us ;) </IMG> |
I try to when I see them |
I try too!!! |
I've been trying to but sometimes they have so many questions and I don't feel I'm an expert on anything:rolleyes: But, I can at least say 'Welcome!'. Thanks for the reminder. |
Good idea! I always try to go through and post in the threads that have very little replies. |
I try to as well. I know I feel bad when my posts get only a few responses and I have been here awhile. |

Weird that so many people feel like a nobody on here. Hey, maybe we should start a forum for all the Nobodys:rolleyes: , we could all post on each others threads, kinda like a support group for low count threaders!:ghug: |
Good Post....... I actually do look at the "low post" threads...........I think it is important to respond to any posts that you have something to offer. Sometimes there are times I just have no thoughts on the thread or anything to offer. But good post to give a gentle nudge to encourage posting to "everyone.":) |

LOL! I'm all in for a support group! I am definitely feeling like a nobody, I posted the cutest pictures of my baby playing with toys we got from Amber LV and I got one reply (from AMBER). I was soooo sad. LOL! And whats worse is other people posted similar messages in the EXACT same forum, the EXACT same day and got several replies. Oh well... I think Jamie's cool and he thinks I'm cool too (well as long as I have a treat in my hand ;) ) http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=102451 |
I ALWAYS DO :D I too have been in the same position, feeling a little left out when I havent gotten many responses on a post. A lot of members have been on here for years and it seems as though they are very close to one another... which has made me feel at times, like some people only reply to posts of members they're familiar with. Its because of this, that I make it a point to reply to threads with the least posts before ones with many posts. Everyone wants to feel like they are part of this community. We all love our pups and thats the #1 common bond we all share, so why not make everyone feel welcome and that their issues/threads matter.... Thanks for bringing this up... and hopefully it will help the matter :D |
