I am a Food Network addict. Iron Chef, Good Eats, 2 Dudes Catering and Dinner: Impossible are some of my favorites to name a few. My all time favorite chef on there though is Guy Fieri. I could watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives all day long.

I cannot stand Ina Garten. She reminds me of a mouse for some reason. But the person I hate the most is Sandra Lee. I love how her idea of "simple" is a $200 tablescape that requires you to bust out all the tools in your garage. She just goes way too overboard on everything. Her shows concept is to make good food simply and she totally strays away from it.

I do gotta give props to Michael Symon for winning the Next Iron Chef. He was my favorite from the start. It sucks that show was a limited series and probably won't be on again. At least not for a while.

Hubby and I were wondering who Rachael Ray was. LOL We saw her talk show and we were like who is she and why does she have a show? :) Now I know. We think she is annoying too.

Paula is my very favorite but I like Rachel Ray....or as my granddaughter says..wachel way.

Giada is another one I love.
Alton Brown just fascinates me with all his scientific stuff.

I am on the line with Rachel Ray. For some reason I feel like I HAVE to watch her show (the 30 minute meals one - I can't stand the other ones). However I agree about the giggling and the abbreviations. When I cook I use a garbage bowl now (it IS a good idea), but I do call it a garbage bowl and not a G.B. I cook with Olive Oil and Not E.V.O.O. :rolleyes:

I used to love Emeril but he has been grating on my nerves for some reason lately.

I think its funny how Sandra Dee makes a "cocktail" with EVERYTHING. I think that accounts for some of her "tablescapes". :p
I do the bowl thing too but definitely kick it up a notch :rolleyes: by putting a grocery bag to line it so everything goes in there and when prep time is over, I just tie the bag and drop it in the garbage . . the bowl is still clean so one less work to do :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Love Paula D, I've made several of her dishes and they are now favorites around my house.

I'm looking for the recipe for her Coconut Gooey Butter Cake (she's selling the cake on QVC but I think I can made it cheaper than 29.00 + shipping:D

I LOVE Paula Deen! She is just one of those great southern women. I have eaten at the Lady and Sons and meet her, before she got famous. I also have one of her cookbooks.

I like rachel ray's 30 min meals.

I don't have cable so I only get to watch when I'm babysitting and the kids are napping so I don't really get to watch enough foodnetwork to know the other chefs.

Sandra Lee I want to choke her. I hate her show. I hate her damn tablescapes. They are annoying and she says they are so cheap and easy to do. Um no I don't think so.

I love to hate Rachael Ray. I think the only reason I like her a tid bit is because she spells her name like I do. LOL I'm a loser! But sometimes I like to watch her 30 minute meals, what I don't like is her show 40 dollars a day. She's a crappy tipper and its annoying to watch her eat.

On TLC there is a show called Take Home Chef. Anyone seen that? Love that show!!

It was awesome that Michael Symon won the Next Iron Chef - he is from Cleveland and we have been to his restaurants and the food is awesome....and I do like Alton Brown since I met him in person a the Great Big Food Show that they have here every year and he signed his cookbook for me and I like the girl who does the low fat cooking she is a nutrionist but I can't think of her name, and what's not to love about Paula Deen - I want her to cook a meal at my house someday..lol.

I don't watch much TV, but I love Rachel Ray, only because my Mom did. The last two weeks Mom was alive, we watched Rachel quite a bit and she was always a bright spot for Mom.

I can't stand Rachael Ray (although I sometimes watch her shows :p ) and ,especially, Giada. It annoys me SO MUCH when she says certain words with an Italian accent. :rolleyes:

My dad thinks Giada's head is too big for her body.

I know it annoys me too how she talks lol i told my bf that the other day but we still watch her show, i guess they are just so entertaining.My bf hates Sandra lee and says she isnt a real cook lol but i love that she decorates, etc., she loves the alcohol a little too much tho. Oh yea i also like Guy Fieri!
