The Baby's Room- almost complete!
 

Well its almost complete so I want to share pictures with everyone. My husband took last week off to finish painting the room and my mom came over to help decorate it. I have the crib and most of my furniture and decorations up. Im just waiting on a hutch for the dresser we ordered and once I receive that I can post completed pics. The room is small so I couldnt step back or zoom out far enough to take pics of an entire wall so I had to do it in pieces. Almost all the decor in the room is made by me or my mom. My mom made my quilt and I decided to hang it on the wall becasue it is way too pretty to actually use, lol. She also made all my bedding and the really cute crib caddy that is hanging on the side of the crib. My mom who is a professional quilter made me another baby quilt that contains fabric from 4 generations of my family it in which I think is just so awesome(I forgot to take picture of it so I will have to post it later). On the back of the quilt she list some family history and tells about the different fabrics used in the quilt. My mom also made the bumper pads on the crib and they are not yet completed as we have to add little sea creatures to each of the pieces that velclros around the crib (if you see the 3 sea creatures at the top of the crib caddy, this is the same type of creatures that will go around crib). I actually only made the paintings, the glittery letters that spell T-E-S-S and the lamp. Im also waiting to get in a hutch I ordered to go on top of the dresser and once that comes in we will have lots of cute decor items to sit on the hutch shelves plus Im going to be hanging up a fish net to put seashells and cute little mermaids Ive collected will be displayed in it.

It came out real cute! I bet you can't wait to hold her in your arms. Those are moments you will never forget.

Im not good at just sitting back and relaxing but I'll try, lol!

I almost forgot to mention in my first post my mom is working on making a window treatment and my best friend is making ma a diaper stacker with my mermaid fabric. I think Im going to try and make a cover for my diaper genie too. So those are a few more things that will be in the room. Plus all the fun baby toys once we have them set up, lol. :p I have a feeling the next 6 and half weeks are going to go by soooooo slow!:p
