Need Good Vibes... 1 Attachment(s) Alright, I need everyone's good vibes. My 11 yr. old son is the catcher for the United States Amature Baseball (By invitation only) Travel Team. They are 10-0 and haven't lost a game yet this season. Today, at noon (Eastern Time) they are playing their final game. This is the Championship game - like the World Series. We are down two of our better players and only have exactly 9 kids. If we lose even one kid to being sick or injury we have to forfeit. Please, keep these kids in your good thoughts. They worked so hard to get this far. I know it's only baseball, but I'm a nervous wreck. LOL. Thanks and I'll let everyone know how they do. Elaine |
wow how exciting!! its 12:51 here so I'm guessing the game has started. Hope they win!!! |

Thinking winning thoughts |
how did they do at their game? since you haven't posted yet, i'm hoping you guys are out celebrating their victory:):) |
We Won!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!! Hi guys. Just wanted to thank all of you for your good thoughts. WOW, what a day. The boys took the 2007 U.S.A.B.L. Championship. I'm so proud of them and I guess I'm going to sound like a bragging mom but I have to add that my son Nick (The catcher) got the last out of the game ending it and winning. A boy from the other team was on 3 rd. base and tried a delayed steal to get home and Nick nailed him out at the plate, ending the game 7-1 in victory for the Wildcats. I was really thrilled because my mom who is terminal was able to come out and watch Nick's game. We bundled her up and put her in a wheel chair and I have tears as I'm writing this, I'm just thrilled she was able to come and see this. All through the years she's never missed a game up until she became terminal. Thanks again for everyone's good thoughts. Elaine |

Congratulations!! That is truly wonderful. And to think that it's only the beginning for you. :D As a mom of a scholarship basketball player, I've spent years attending every game and supporting in so many emotional ways. My daughter made her first college points yesterday. (I'm only thankful that my other daughter is an artist - much less stressful for us!) So you have many more years. Enjoy them all. They go so quickly. Although I was late today, I'm glad to offer good vibes anytime. |
