do dogs cry? I know they cry in the sense they make the whinning noise but I mean tears. Last week or so when i come home it looks like Abby is crying. She's got wet streams coming down her face. I don't think she's in pain but I know she's had some issues this past week with her hips, so I don't know. |
tears That is a good question... I have seen many dogs in pain from whelping and injuries..and never noticed tears...I think some tearing is normal in a Yorkie if the eye is clear, no infection or redness... |
My retriever has been having the same thing, not a lot of pain, but looks like he has been crying....good question. |
Hmmmm...I don't know....anyone do any research? |
I say yes....when Daisy rides in the car she cries and doesn't make any noise just has tears...she also does it if I leave her for a few minutes |
I think they do cry. Dogs in my shelter sometimes cry for days when their owners leave them! |
I think they do cry. Years ago my dear late Mom had Yorkies, and everytime she was admitted to hospital the one would cry tears. It used to break my Mom's heart. My Coco also seems to cry when Hubby is away on business. |

Oh that breaks my heart!!! :( |
I know its sad. But they get a lot of love from us. So they bond with us then we cry when they get adopted. Especially when they leave and keep pulling on the leash to come back to the door. |
