What do you do with ALL the LEAVES??
 
Since the trees didn't stay pretty very long this fall (I don't think we had enough rain or cooler temps), the leaves have been falling like crazy.

Each year, it seems I do something different with the leaves....rake them, burn them, mulch them with the mower, etc.

What do you do?

What is the best thing to do?

I am thinking if I do a compost pile, I wouldn't need all the leaves I have...that would be one HUGE compost pile.

Rake them? Srry idk lol but i always take pics with them

I have raked them before....remember....we have over 30 acres....and a yard that is about 5 acres big!!!
Raking really really was not fun when I did it before! Although, watching my daughter play in them was fun.......
I'm thinking I will mow them to mulch them...that way, they stay in the yard and it is said to be good for the lawn....
Just curious what everyone else with so many leaves do.

I don't rake them.... I vacuum them......


After the babies seem to bring every new "toy" into the house... lol

Well, we have an acre lawn, so we have a mulcher on the mower and we mulch the lawn and vac the beds around the house. We have lots and lots of trees. We would be buried in leaves if we didn't do all of this.:D

I watch them blow around....:D I especially love when they end up in my neighbors yard...LOL


....I actually rake and bag them up, then the village comes and picks them up so they can dispose of them.

We tend to vacuum most of ours!! It seems like by the end of fall, we have had more leaves in the house than in the yard...our little ones LOVE to bring them in and tear them up and then go back for more. It is an endless games all throughout the fall!!

I know....Mojo and Lily are getting longer here now, so every time they come inside....we are picking up leaves and pulling leaves out of their hair!!!

We have grasshopper mowers, but I don't have the mulcher/bagger attachment....I WANT one!! That would be perfect!!!!
