Sending prayers for your friend and her new baby.

26 1/2 years ago my first child came at 32 1/2 weeks. He weighed 4 lb. 7 oz. He is now a very handsome, intelligent, caring young man who is a 2nd year nursing student.

Sending prayers.Dont worry .Both of my nethews were preemies.And are very healthy teenagers. Also my neighbor fosters preemie babies and they all did great.She has one now that weighed less than 2 pounds at birth.He is now 8 months old and is a bundle of joy.

Prayers going out to mommy and baby.

I had 2 of my boy's born 3 months early. they were 2lbs 0 ounces and the other was 3lbs 6 ounces. they were under 15 inches long. My first one had to be on a respirator the other got CPAP. Both had Apnea and Bradycardia (ms?) and came home on monitors. Also my one had to be on medication for Menigites 24 hours after he was born. They tell parents that you will have good day's and bad day's in the NICU. They had a very ruff start in life but they are doing great and are now 11 and 10 year old boy's.

Thanks you so much for your prayers and thoughts. They are greatly appreciated. My friend's baby is holding her own and is a fighter.

Sending tons of prayers her way. Be assured that baby girls kick a$$ and they fight through a lot of things. I was told by a neonatologist when my sister was born at 24 weeks that girls fight way more than boys. My sister was 24 weeks and weighed a pound and a half..she is now 20 and healthy as a horse.

I have three children that were all premature. My first daughter was 9 weeks early, my second was 8 weeks early and my son was 4 weeks early.

The baby will be fine.

Prayer's are on their way for your friend's baby.
They do magical things today with premies. I have several
friends who have have babies much smaller and today they
are happy and healthychildren. Prayer's coming that it will happen
to this little one as well.

We were told with my boy's neonatologist when they were born @26 and 28 weeks gestation that boy's just ar not as healthy as the girls when born early. Girls lungs ar also more mature then a boy's born at the same gestational age.

I hope tha the baby does better, it's scarry when they come early!

Please let her mom (your friend) know, that we are all thinking and praying for her and her little one.
