I need help with PhotoShop6 please!!! Its impossible for me to get all 5 in one pic so I'm trying to use photoshop to make 5 different pics look like one. I'm going in and cropping, then removing the back ground to white and when I move the two together you can still see the square part where the other picture is. I'm just not getting it??? Can someone guide me thru the steps??? I'd appreciate it so much! |
good luck...i have no advise but can imagine how frustrating it is |
Can you make avatars through that program? |

Sonya PS in the new picture, it is best to paste as a new layer. That way you can select the layer and move each picture until you are happy with it. If you keep each dog on a seperate layer you can move the layers around move one in front of another, etc |

ARGH! Still not getting it :( I'm not finding the background eraser tool. I'm sure its so easy too! LOL |
On the left side where the eraser tool is.. you will see a little arrow on the lower right side of the icon. if you click on that arrow, you can choose other tools that are there. If you cannot find it that way, use the "help" and type in background eraser |
I use a newer version of photoshop, but I used to have photoshop 6 so I am trying to remember about it. another way you can do it. if you have already removed the old backgrounds and it is just white in the background now, you can select the white background, then go up to the "select" menu and choose "invert". That will choose your yorkie without the background. Then select copy, then go to the new picture and make a new layer, then select "paste as a new selection so you can move it around. Then make a new layer for the next yorkie, etc etc PM me if you need more help and I will get it as soon as I get online I am going to have to do the same thing with my 6 in thier christmas outfits |
Ok thanks! I'll try tonight when I get home from work!!!!!!! Thanks so much! |

Hi Brenda, I just saw this. I am so glad I could help. Sometimes it is hard to put into words to explain. Whe I worked for the govt as an electronic tech. I was the lead in my department, so I had to write up "SOP's" (standard operating procedures) for just about everything we did at work. So that helps when trying to explain something. I am just glad you are somewhat photoshop comfortable. It makes it so much easier. I learned by doing just what you are doing. Just played around with it. Also on Amazon I found some great photoshop books that give lots of tips on "how to's" Glad I could help Sonya PS I got your pics, but still haven't heard from Brooke yet. I might have to just steal her pics and work with what I have lol |
