I hate to be a pain on the butt, but 3 hours ago I just found out we have a new addition to our Yorkie family :cheer: a 6 month baby boy Yorkie named Baby Bear :aimeeyork

We are so happy to have him be part of our family, I never ever dreamed I would have 4 Yorkies :luvu: Now I can't sleep doing the :happyboun :happyboun

REMEMBER, the list that I am keeping up, is JUST of YORKIE NAMES that were not added on the "master" list that Kimberly (SimonandHallie) emailed/sent out.

I'm not adding husbands/boyfriends/etc to my list...but you can post that information in this thread and when people check this thread, they can see these additions and add them to their "master" list. (I printed mine off, so I was able to pencil in all the changes so far).

If you missed out on the Holiday Card Exchange...you might want to PM her to see if you are able to still be included...since the list was already emailed out to the 97 or so people who signed up, I just don't know if she can do it.

BUT if you missed out, post about it in this thread and I know there will be a lot of people who will want you to PM them your mailing addy and they can send their addy too!

Okay.......I think we REALLY need to give Kimberly (simonandhallie) and BIG pat on the back :bravo: for doing this holiday card exchange again this year. It is a big job to take on and I hope it can be continued.

There seems to have been so many "changes" from people this year....adding, wanting to make sure boyfriends/husbands/kids were all included, etc. --nothing wrong with that AT ALL.....but last year, there didn't seem to be all of this to keep up with....it seemed like everyone was happy w/ what was on the "master" list.

It seemed that last year, it ran so smoothly....everyone sent in their names/addresses ...... no one missed the deadline ...... everyone was happy with what was on the "master" list, etc. Only small changes were needed, if any....etc.

I don't recall anyone being upset if there was a name left off a holiday card they received or if someone just wrote "and family" on the card, etc.

I think everyone was just sooo grateful to be able to be included and was just thrilled to have another fun YT "activity" to do!

So....I am just hoping that this tradition of the holiday card exchange will continue on next year....and hopefully, next year....everyone will send in all the information to start with and everyone will be happy.
After all, we are one big happy YT family..and I know we are all grateful for everything that YT allows us to participate in.......and we definitely want to thank the person in charge of doing all of this for us and to make it a little easier on them too, if we can.

I know starting this card exchange, sorting thru hundreds upon hundres of PM's, keeping up with changes, etc...is very time consuming and sometimes may be difficult, but I just wanted to say....I (and I am sure everyone else is to) am VERY thankful that you take the time to do this for us and put up with all of our craziness! :justahug: :wub:

I'm with you on this one. I think it's the thought that counts and not whos name is one the card. I usually send ALL of mine to just the family since I never know who has new members or members that have left, etc, etc. I'm always just glad to get something besides a bill in the mail:D Patty
