Okay.......I think we REALLY need to give Kimberly (simonandhallie) and BIG pat on the back :bravo: for doing this holiday card exchange again this year. It is a big job to take on and I hope it can be continued.

There seems to have been so many "changes" from people this year....adding, wanting to make sure boyfriends/husbands/kids were all included, etc. --nothing wrong with that AT ALL.....but last year, there didn't seem to be all of this to keep up with....it seemed like everyone was happy w/ what was on the "master" list.

It seemed that last year, it ran so smoothly....everyone sent in their names/addresses ...... no one missed the deadline ...... everyone was happy with what was on the "master" list, etc. Only small changes were needed, if any....etc.

I don't recall anyone being upset if there was a name left off a holiday card they received or if someone just wrote "and family" on the card, etc.

I think everyone was just sooo grateful to be able to be included and was just thrilled to have another fun YT "activity" to do!

So....I am just hoping that this tradition of the holiday card exchange will continue on next year....and hopefully, next year....everyone will send in all the information to start with and everyone will be happy.
After all, we are one big happy YT family..and I know we are all grateful for everything that YT allows us to participate in.......and we definitely want to thank the person in charge of doing all of this for us and to make it a little easier on them too, if we can.

So with that being said.............THANK YOU KIMBERLY!!! :hug:

I know starting this card exchange, sorting thru hundreds upon hundres of PM's, keeping up with changes, etc...is very time consuming and sometimes may be difficult, but I just wanted to say....I (and I am sure everyone else is to) am VERY thankful that you take the time to do this for us and put up with all of our craziness! :justahug: :wub:

I would also like to apologize in advance, but I did not have time to put everyone's name on the card. I simply addressed them to the main person listed "and family". I hope everyone understands.

I also wanted to say that now that my children are older, Christmas hasn't been as much "fun" the past few years, and I've missed that feeling.

Thank you YT for putting me in a more festive holiday frame of mind. :) The YorkieTalk family is precious to me. :hearts6: :ghug:

Amen to this and to Jenn's post.....I will also just put & family if there were no names on the original list...it was so hard to keep up with all the changes last minute and thank you Kim and Jenn for trying to keep with all this. I would not be offended if someone did not put even "& family" on it...since I only put my name and Izzy's name on the mater list. Personally I thought the card was going to only the furbaby and YT member anyway..lol. :D :eek:

Thanks you two..........I know that this was what most people did last year and it was all "good".......I know a lot of people were just sooo excited to get them done and sent out....it was sent to the main person and family. I don't think anyone will mind......it is the thought that counts and I know I would be glad to get any card.......from anyone.......whether it listed all 5 dogs and 3 of us or just Mojo and Lily or just me......I don't care......and I don't care if it is a card handmade or store bought or if there were pictures or no pictures. I'm with you on this one. I think it's the thought that counts and not whos name is one the card. I usually send ALL of mine to just the family since I never know who has new members or members that have left, etc, etc. I'm always just glad to get something besides a bill in the mail:D Patty

I feel like such a loser. LOL I haven't even figured out how to get some or what kind to get or whatnot and I got a card!! Way to be on top of things onelovelylynn, Penny and Kizzy. Way cute card.



disclaimer: there is going to be a gabazillon cards flying so I am saying on mass thank you now to each and everyone who sends my family a card. Please know that it will be deeply appreciated and cherished. I just think we'll have wayyyyy tooo many threads with thanks you if we all thank each person. ;)

Don't feel like a loser!! I haven't even gotten the pictures I'm going to use in the cards yet. I have cards but no pictures and no stamps yet. I supposed I could start addressing and signing the cards, huh?! :p

OK guys, quit being so gosh darn modest and accept all the accolades and applause you are getting because you DESERVE it all. So does anyone else who helped put this together. Amazing job and it has lifted so many people up and put some smiles back into the Holidays for a lot of us, so ...
