We probably had 60 kids. Most were under 14 and dressed up. I always did my and in the bowl and come out with a fist of candy. If you came to my door and didnt have a costume my fist was not as full and i made sure they got bubble gum not the good stuff. It really ticks me off too that big kids come around with just sacks and no costume. The only reason i even made an effort to give them anything is I didnt want to get tricked later! Overall it was a great night for us. My step daughter handed out most of the candy and I held Bella with her witches hat on! Everyone got an extra treat!! |
I took my kids trick or treating so I was not home to give out candy but I always tell my kids the same thing every year...you say trick or treat and thank you! thats all I heard last night from them LOL. I saw very few teenagers out and the ones I did see had costumes but they were sooo loud. I mentioned something about it to my hubby and he said Oh stop they are having fun...that will be our daughter in a few years I said OH NO IT WONT! see my daughter is 12 and a big 12 so finding a costume that she doesnt look like shes 20 yrs old in was hard so we got her what I thought was going to look decent for her age...wrong. No way was she wearing that! so she wore the wings and ears, she looked cute lol |
I had maggie out last night, as well as my cocker and our min pin...they were all dressed up. i didn't get a single bad comment. most people were laughing and thought it was the cutest thing. i guess i need to be thankful. it sounds like so many people were very rude!! i dont know if i could have held my tongue had someone said something negative. i was in a rotten mood :) |
I didnt get any bad comments about Jewels being dressed up either. People loved it. She was the hit of the night |
