I in no way care either...if it's cute, I'll buy it as well. I too did not even think about throwing Lacy's toys away and they're all made in China I think. I don't know why everyone freaked out about it..the levels weren't even dangerous. Some of those articles tried to make it seem like they were but vets were quoted saying they were not. Also, the vets around here that I talked to during that time didn't even know a toy recall was going on, and another pet forum I'm a member of never had anything posted about it either. I just couldn't imagine throwing toys away just because they were made in China and people were freaking out over nothing. The pet food recall was one thing (bad bad :thumbdown ) but the toys...no dogs got sick from those...

Wow! You're like a CELEBRITY:D . I never even see anyone working in that section. But now I'm going to go looking for her, LOL! All the Max wear is pretty much bought out; there's one or two items and several of the collars/harnesses left. The interesting thing is though; there's still a lot of the LuluPink stuff. Maybe there's more boy dogs around here than girl dogs:confused: . If I had a girl dog, I'd own ever single LuluPink dress and jacket; they are really cute!

On the subject of China....did you know that Peeps are now going to be made in China??!! Can you believe that.......I think that is crazy! I remember watching a special on PBS last year about a family who tried to only buy things made in the USA...well, needless to say, it was not too easy.

Another couple tried to get by with only buy local products or from their state (I mean everything)...that didn't work...they moved to only products in the US, and that was way too hard to do also.

I think soo many things are being made overseas because it is sooo much cheaper...of course, a lot of time the quality is cheaper too, but that is our policy in action though.....

Back to the topic at hand......there was such a surge in Wal-Mart clothing. I think I started it too when I posted the sweaters I got for Mojo and Lily. My Wal-Mart NEVER had dog clothes...not even a good selection of dog stuff period...now, we have 3 or 4 aisles of dog goodies! I'm not afriad to say that I bought something for them at Wal-Mart...Shoot, I am just glad that my local stores have finally started carrying dog stuff!!!

I have purchased clothing for our girls from some of the ladies here in YT this past year, so really haven\'t gotten any from Wal Mart, and oh my gosh some of those that sew here are so reasonable, and do beautiful work.

I did just order the play yards from Wal Mart off the internet store and yes, happy to say they are made in the good ole USA and the price was great.

Didn\'t mean to type all this but I get vocal on this subject of trade with China, what do we produce in our country to ship else where in the world?

I remember when our WAL MART first opened they ADVERTISED that they sold products MADE IN THE USA. They even had BIG HUGE SIGNS hanging across the aisles in the front of the store that said "MADE IN THE USA".

Well, not anymore, I have been checking TONS of things in Wal Mart and other stores and they all say Made in China. I was looking at Nike shoes and they all said made in Tailand, or Indonesia etc etc. It\'s really sad. I am buying less and less things made in China now. I returned some dog treats that were made in China to Costco. The guy at the returns counter said lots of people are bringing them back.

This is so sad.
