Please pray for my DAD
 

I am very sad these days, My DAD hasn't been feeling well and he's been in the hospital for a full week now, He had a triple bypass surgery yesterday and I am just hoping for the best. My family it's very strong and we all have faith that God will allow him to come home soon, I was just so devastated to see all that equipment on him and I asked my mom if i just wait in the wait room because that really hurts me, Please pray for us and for my father.

Thank you so very much!!! I miss him and the fact that I can only see him for a few minutes really makes me sadder:(

I will say a prayer for you and your family. It looks so scary when you see someone you love attached to all of those machines. I'm sure in a few days, he will look and feel so much better! Just say your prayers and talk to us and to your family. (hugs)

I am so sorry you and your family are going through this, but thank goodness they have come so far in treating heart disease. I know it seems awful to see your dad hooked up to so much and unable to communicate, but once they take all those tubes out and all, he will look so much better...and feel better too! I'm sending you hugs and I will pray for your Dad and you, and will also be thinking of you. Just remember the worst is now behind him and he will be quickly recovering and feeling good again!

Oh, Sandy, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. :( It sounds like your faith is strong and you know the Lord is good. We will be praying for your dad for a speedy recovery and for strength for your family to get through this difficult time.

Sandy, I am so sorry you are going through this. I know how you feel Hon. Years ago, my precious Daddy also had bypass surgery. The hardest part for me was to see him hooked up to all those tubes, hear the beep-beep of the machines that kept him alive and monitored him. We have this image of our Dads, as this strong supporter of their little girls, and to see them so vulnerable and ill, is very difficult.
But, you should also know, that having you there, even if it\'s for a very short time, is of great comfort to him. I know it\'s awful for you, but if you possibly can, try and be with him for small periods of time. You and him will be comforted. Let him feel the touch of your hand, hear the sound of your voice. I assure you, you will feel better for it.
PM me if you want, because I do know only too well what you are going through. His entire life, my Dad was my very best friend and his bypass gave us 9 more wonderful years with him. In these times, so many more advances have been made, and I am sure your Father will recover soon. You will not believe how much more energy he will have, than before his surgery.
