?? for those of you who sell using Paypal If I take orders and payment through Paypal, how do I convert that to money? How does that work? The one time I sold something using Paypal, I just left the credit in my account and spent it. The club I sponsor at school is selling some items that I would like to offer to YT members, but money must be deposited in the school account and the vendor paid with a school check (since it is a school fundraiser). The company does not allow online orders, this is just something I would do. I would take the orders, order the products, and mail them to people myself when they arrive. Any ideas about how to do this? Thanks! :) |
just going from memory here....but there is a tab that says "withdrawal" or something like that. if you have your paypal linked to a checking account, you can choose that tab and it will walk you through putting that money in your checking account. it takes a couple of days but there is no charge for doing it. I think they limit how much you can "deposit" into your bank account every month but not how many times you can do it. I believe that is how you go about it :) hope that helps... Quote:

Hello. When you have funds in your paypal account you can withdraw them in different ways: 1) An electronic transfer directly into your bank account. You must confirm a bank account with Paypal. This takes about 3-4 business days to complete and is free; or 2) Request for Paypal to send you a check. I believe they say it takes 1-2 weeks and I there is a fee $1.50. 3) The other options are to have a paypal debit card and use it to shop at stores and to get $ out at ATMs. |
Thanks! I don't have a checking account attached to paypal, but I can do that pretty easily. Then, I can deposit to that and write a check to the school. :) Okay, that works. |
Just to let you know the check they send you comes fast! I received it in like 3 days:) |
That is fast. Thanks for letting me know. :) |
Judy, you said you have paid for stuff with paypal right? If you have then they had to verify you somehow. They wont allow you to pay with paypal and not have an account. Just a thought. Try looking in your account info and make sure you dont already have it set up to a checking/savings account. Best of luck! |
Also when I take my puppy depositss thru paypal, they take a certain percentage. i recently had someone send me 200 for a deposit but only 193, was credited to my account. Withdrawing workds exactly the way someone else stated. I have the electronic transfer thing straight to my bank. |
