Meet up in Boston
 

:D Could anyone tell me when the next Boston meetup is? I have yet to go and I know Cole and I would LOVE it!

I have gone there a couple times. Now it is a different person running and I heard it is better. I haven't been there for 6 months or so... Jaxon's mom is usually there I think!

Event Description:
Thank you to those who attended the December Meetup, it was a
great success! And thank you for the generous MSPCA donations.

We hope you can join us again in January from 1-3pm. Come meet
other Yorkies (of all colors and sizes) and their owners for a
fun, casual romp. There is no charge for this meetup, however
donations are accepted (to assist in covering the fees for
keeping up with the group). There will be a donation box
outside the playroom for anonymous contributions and thank you
in advance for your support!

Please try to be diligent about your RSVP responses for
planning purposes, especially since attendance is now limited.

In addition to the meetup, the groomers at the spa at DoggieDay have reserved spaces for nail trimming for $10. Anyone interested in reserving a space for nail trimming, please send an email to
robgaleski@doggieday.com. Also, all purchases made in the
DoggieDay 'Spoochies boutique on the day of the meet-up are
discounted 20% so prepare to shop!!

Hope to see everyone in January! If anyone is interested in a
second monthly meetup, please email me. The options are either
the 2nd or 4th Sunday of the month at DoggieDay.

P.S. Two reminders: please be in control of your dog(s) so that
each member has a pleasurable experience and if your dog is not
getting along, please take him/her outside for a timeout or
keep him/her by your side. And please leave toys and pee-pads
at home or outside the meetup room. This helps to alleviate
"arguments" and confusion. (Paper towels are available for
accidents/clean-up.)

P.P.S. While it is great to see young puppies, please make sure
you have clearance from your vet before attending meetup.
Generally, puppies should not be around other dogs until they
have had their 3 immunity boosters. We don't want any sick
yorkies (or expensive vet bills).

:woof: I have been looking for something local to Alfie and I... I am so joining today~! :)

I've been thinking about coming to a Yorkie meet-up in Boston. I guess I'm just a little nervous. Are the Yorkies all different sizes or are they mostly tinies?

They have a tiny Yorkie Meet up group actually... I have not been but have been invited as my Alfie is still very small because he is a puppy. I will try and find a link for you to use if you want to look into the dates.. good luck! :D

That's what I was worried about....Tucker is not a tiny, he's 8 pounds. Bummer. :(

this one doesn't have a weight requirement. i have two yorkies and they are way over 4 lbs.

Well If enough people get on here and post... maybe we can have our own misfits of Non-Tiny Yorkies meet up... LOL

Alfie is only 9weeks now and already 4 pounds.. :eek: another month and he will really be packing....LOL :rolleyes:

Hi.. I just replied today on there.. I was so happy to see someone spoke up and took on the meetups. We have never been yet so we are very excited... and it being NORTH SHORE is great!!! I saw your email... some people may be a little worried of the change in place... (no body likes change).. but I think its wonderful... :woof:
