I am so glad I came across this site, I was suppose to meet with her later today! I was researching yorkies this morning and came across this site. when I first saw the thread, " A BAD yorkie reseller" I wasn't going to even click on it because I thought I was going to the best breeder in the northeast!!! Imagine my shock when seeing she was the very opposite!! Her website makes her yorkies seem god like.. I did get a little suspicious though when she didn't talk much about dog shows on the site or list actual champions like clover hill did, and the picture of the couple in front of the airplane was a bit odd too. (really how tacky to take a family picture in front of your plane? ) but she was so convincing I ignored the warning signs!!! Can you change the topic to Beware: Denise and Country Home Yorkies, it might also show up in google results easier. I bet some people see the topic but don't think to click on it because Denise makes you feel so confident about her yorkies.

Well, aren't I very pleased to hear you read this first before heading to see the "Country Home " Charming indeed....BUT...were you looking for real estate or a Yorkie !! Lovely website also....FAKE HEALTH GUARANTEE with every puppy.
This is quite an experience....JUST AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT PURCHASE A DOG !!!!!

I almost got a pup from this woman. Her web-site had good newspaper reviews and she was also backed up by Animal Planet. I came by too many bad reviews and at first believed they were lies. The last time I spoke to this woman she stated the dogs don't come registered and on her web-site it says they are registered. That's when it hit me, in one of the reviews someone complained about her pups not being registered and that they're brokered pups etc etc....that's when I realized there may be some truth to the bad reviews....Don't judge a book by it's cover...right!

Reputable Yorkie breeder just had a litter of 4 pups!
 

Reputable Yorkie breeder in our area just had a litter of 4 pups!!!! I was going to get one but my husband told me I was nuts because we have 2 pups already!!! Well, this is the problem...I do not know how she managed to get newspaper interviews and good reviews. Admittedly she is a lovely attractive lady and has a lovely home. She insited on giving us a tour !She is an interior designer and surroundings are very attractive. I do not know what this has to do with puppies though....she keeps her dogs in the basement and brings them up one at a time. She does not have the dams or sires at her house and said she did when we called. After a 3 hour drive to get there I was not very happy about that.
We fell in love with the puppy we went to see and bought her....and then we came home and took her straight to the vet it all began.....
No, we never did get any papers and the medical certificate she gave us turned out to be clearly FAKED.

NOOOO I was the original poster who did buy a puppy from her....My comments here have been my effort to try to warn others not to get entrapped the way I did.

Thank G-d after much expensive Vet treatment and emotional stress and aggravation, oh yes and hernia surgery,my little girl is fine. No thanks to that BROKER though !! :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown

Sorry, you weren't warned first and thank you for warning others! It's unreal what people will do - repeatedly! To bad you have to come to YT and YT can't find people before they make mistakes!!!

This is why I try to keep this thread alive....hopefully some people will read it and decide not to take a chance with this person.See the warning signs and stay far away. :mad:Very sad indeed, the misery you feel when something like this happens ,in addition to all the extra veterinarian expenses.you do not have the fun of enjoying your new puppy. :mad::mad:

Did anyone contact Animal Planet? Her website says that they filmed that show Dogs 101 at her house. I did watch it but don't remember anything but the dogs of course.:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork

Animal Planet was probably impressed by her lovely home and herself.
However....they were not interested in buying an expensive Yorkie from her to suffer the horrors of her misrepresentations !! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thanks sooo much for all this info. I only live an hour away from Mass and can't believe this women would be so deceitful just to make a buck! how horrible...:(

Does anyone know where she gets her dogs from? I mean, does she breed any of them herself? Curious...
