Looking for first Yorkie Hello! I am on the search for my first Yorkie. I have had dogs all my life and currently have an 11 year old Boxer who LOVES his little dog buddies! I am located in central Mass and am able to travel to get a healthy pup, but would like to stay fairly local. I have already read more than enough to know I will NOT be going to Sutton for my pup. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with Hi Hopes in Southbridge? The only real information I have at this time is that she charges $2000 for pets. I will be looking into Jubilee as well as Clover Hill. Any other suggestions as I start my journey would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
I'm a yorkie breeder in Va. I would love to talk to you Hi I am a yorkie breeder and have two males available for sale. If you would like to call me and talk about what you are looking for in your first yorkie and what I have available I would love to talk with you . You can respond or send me a message. |
We talked to a bunch of area breeders when we were looking for our third Yorkie. I bought Teddy from Shenanigans in Billerica. I am very happy with my dog - he is so cute and so sweet. I would buy from her again without hesitation. Feel free to PM me if you want any more info! |
Thanks YorkieMom, but Virginia is a bit too far away for me. |
Hi I live in Cape Cod and I have 1 female and 2 males available. If you are interested let me know. You can see them on my website Capecodyorkies.com |

Looking for a Yorkie I am also looking for a local reputable breeder but would not want to pay 2000 for a dog I think that type of money could be better spent for vet bills, toys and so forth . So does anyone know a reputable breeder that has practical costs. |

The first person that comes to mind is Rose Jenks/Foxfire Yorkshire Terriers, in CT. |
I am very happy with mine and i did not pay "an arm and a leg" for her. Besides she is beautiful and get compliments all the time. I will be happy to pass the referral, just Pm and i will give their number. |
Also came across Taylor Made in Maine while going through YTCA site. Got a very good feeling from talking with this woman. Anybody have any experience with her? |

Here's another link for more info on breeders in that area. www.yorkies.com Take your time. Ask many questions. Look at the contract. Feel free question the contract, bring back any questions to share them. This is a very big commitment you are making. The right breeder will respect you for taking your time. You should look for a quality well bred healthy puppy. There are many people breeding dogs. Few quality ones. Good luck. |
