Help!!!!!! HELLO EVERYONE........ I am wondering if anyone out there has ever come across this ........ my baby is 12 weeks old and I noticed some crusting lesions ...wart like.... in both ears ..inside tip ...same place and size ...... I went to the vet and he has no idea what this could be...:scratchhe. he prescribed some drops to use twice a day and keep a close look to see if it falls off ...... HAS ANYONE heard of this ?????? three weeks ago when we went to the vet ...there was nothing on his ears.... |
Hi I am not to sure. Could that be from the breeder doing a bad job at shaving the hair of the puppy ears. If you could you post a picture, we might be able to help you better. My 2 males got to a fight once and they both when for each other ears. But your dog is a little young to get to a fight! Did the breeder had any bigger dogs? Some breed like to go after the cat ears so maybe that is what happen. Hope someone will help you better. |

I was just checking his ears since I put the drops early this morning......it has softened and loosened up .... so when I checked it was peeled off...... I am starting to think from what you said about other dogs fighting...... I have an older Shih Tsu ....and I recall her sniffing his face and ears..........I'm thinking could she had grabbed his ears ??? he dd not yelp at the time .... |
Hmmmm...crusty ears could mean Yeast infection, Ear mites, or Leather Ear :( |
the drops that I am putting on the ears is Tresaderm... he does not scratch them or wince when you touch them...... |
