Treats/chewies I have a 4 month old Morkie, Stanley, and am wondering what treats/chewies anyone suggests that I feed him or don't feed him. He is teething (lost 4 teeth so far) and really needs something that keeps his attention so he (hopefully) will quit chewing on us (OUCH!). He really likes the Nylabone Healthy Edibles, but I think he gets too much of it and it makes him sick. My husband and I had Stanley and my moms, visiting with her Chihuahua and Maltese and he found one of their rawhid e(non flavored) chews and he really liked it...please send me all your suggestions and thoughts. Thanks! :animal-pa |
I think you'll get alot of suggestions if you move this to general instead of videos. |

The "digestible" question is where you'll run into disagreement. I used to feed Greenies until there were reports of dogs dying because Greenies weren't completely digestible. They have since changed their recipe, but I'm still leery. I haven't tried Nylabone Healthy Edibles for the same reason. Do dogs really need to eat and swallow stuff that isn't food? My advice is to get a tough chew toy that they can't swallow. A lot of people use regular nylabones, Kongs. I prefer bully sticks. They can be stinky, but they don't break down like rawhide and dogs love them. |
Bella loves her bully sticks! I ordered them from a guy off ebay that I heard about on here. He was really nice, had great customer service and free shipping! :) |
