Know of a good free video editing program? I am looking for a free video editing program. I just want to do things like add text, shorten video segments, add music. I also want to convert my videos to something that will download faster to YouTube. It takes a CRAZY long time to download even short videos. Any ideas? |
I would love to know of one also. |
I just found Windows Movie Maker on my computer! It's supposedly included in all Windows XP or Vista installations. (I have XP, so I don't know for sure about Vista.) The video I posted today of Gizmo and my son playing was edited with that. It was fairly easy for me to figure out the basics of it in one day. I will need to study it to do more advanced things. So search your programs for Windows Movie Maker. :) |
Windows Movie Maker does also come on Vista. Good job too cuz I use it alot. If you don't have either of them though you can pretty much the same things on OneTrueMedia.com and it's free to have the basic account. I've used that a few times when my last laptop was going to be repaired. It's very simple to use if you're just learning and you can add text, crop videos and you can even upload straight to YouTube from their site! |
Thanks! That's what I needed to know. :) |
Windows movie maker works pretty good. I use Photodex pro show producer and Memories on TV. Here are some free editing programs. Link as far as converting to a smaller file to put on Youtube, Use virtual Dub. Here is a video of how to use virtual dub to compress files. Compressing Link Hope this helps.:) |
Thank you. I will check those out ASAP. :) |
