My Gigi does this all of the time. I am finding her dry food buried all over, down the side of the couch, in corners, in the blankets on the bed. She has all sorts of hiding places. They are so cute. |
I have seen this with my male. He will do it on a blanket, but not actually be moving the blanket with his now. Hilarious! |
Yes this is a Winston trait as well...he works so hard bury his treat...stands back and looks at it...turns and takes a few steps...cocks his head to see if he can still see it...goes back to put more "dirt" on it...and so on. But, if he notices us looking at it...he'll grab it and move on to his next hiding spot. We giggle and think really? Why? |
We have brown carpet in the living room, and my girl Minnie used to try to bury large snacks there, and give herself nasty rugburns on her nose as a result. We had to break her treats into pieces and stagger them through the day to keep her from doing it. |
Fatty loves to Dig! My little Fatty runs up the arm of my recliner, jumps on my head and tries to dig. ouch! The little Twerp. She has done that since she was a pup. Now I tell her no since she has gotten up to 9 lbs. She still wants to do it but knows better. LOL:littleang:yelrotflm: |
