Unfortunately, the snow does cling to Jillie, especially when it's wet snow. Occasionally, her harness freezes to her fur, which is a pain. It clings to my other Yorkie, Eddie, even worse because he has a cottony coat.
I've tried long-legged coats to try to cut down on the clumps, but I found they restricted their movement too much, and snow still got in underneith.
When it's bad, I usually put her in the sink and use warm water to melt the clumps, which are usually on her legs and chest. Blow dryer takes too long.
Good luck! And hope for dry snow next time. |
