Cooper FINALLY Gets to Swim in a Big Pool!
 
Cooper never swam in a big pool until recently. We went from a big bucket, to plastic pool, to little rubber pool with a filter but could never find an opportunity to swim in a real pool. Well, he finally did! And he loved it!! (yes i realize he is not wearing a life jacket).

Wow! He sure loves the water! He looks like he's been swimming in an inground pool his whole life! Max is a good boy doing his lifeguard duties!:)

that was great and it was a big dive. Gail (Gemy) told me to get Lola to do a running start and she will be able to dive further, LOL that is next for Cooper along with trying out the slide:D

Max is a great lifeguard. He runs around the pool making sure everyone is safe. He tried the pool but just flails his legs around like a total mess.

I'm not sure Cooper would do a running start. I think he would stop at the edge. I would also be afraid that he'll slip on the edge. Ahh....the slide :D

He needs doggy water shoes or boat shoes... lol! (or flippers, though hard to run in!)

I never heard of a doggy wetsuit! Actually swim shoes are important for dogs. Lots of dogs tear there pads diving into the pool and running around the edge.

Oh yes! Even in streams and rivers there's always sharp rocks and sometimes pieces of broken glass...

WOW Karen!!!! :D Cooper's amazing - so brave! Loved watching that :)

And doesn't it make life easier for you (and him!) - their hair being short? Love them both :) Sally x

Kathy I can't find the wetsuit for sale, but don't laugh I am glad you mentioned it, Lola does not like to get out of the water and I am afraid she is going to get the hypothermia you posted about last week. When, my folks were here it was quite cool and I kept drying her off and she kept going back in, and in thinking back it took her a long time to get warm afterwards, I was just thinking how cool it would be for her to have a wet suit yesterday when we were in the lake. Getting her in it might be a challenge since they have to be pretty tight to work
