Psycho Bird! Poor Joel was getting teased by this psycho magpie, they look pretty but there squaking is annoying and they actually swoop down at Rosco, but this one here was teasing Joel, my mom said it's because he has a girl clip in his hair(but she thinks anything in his hair makes him girly lol) Joel was scared from the bird being so loud :( VIDEO0282-1.mp4 video by rm89203 - Photobucket |
We had a cardinal that would ram it's head into the window over and over again at the same tine every day. We changed out our windows and he stopped- only thing we can figure is the old windows were reflective and he could see himself and would attack??? |
We have a crow here who gasn't learned her lesson. last week she was threatening Ekvis so when she got braver and moved from the neighbors roof to ours I grabbed the jumbo dog tennis ball and was going to try to bounced it next to her and scare her off as her bff watched from the neighbors roof. Well go figure when I'm not trying I freaking nailed her dead on! Feather flew as she flapped and scammered across the roof headed down the side and dazed flew vack to the neigh irs roof...I found a giant wing feather next to the tennis ball on the far side of the house. she was on our fense this morning...I can tell it's her missing her big wing feather I proudly stuck in the ground in front if my weeping willow sampling. Hiw do you humanely make them shoo? |
Good to know i'm not the only one with a psycho bird, and don't even talk about the seagulls, lol. Theres a road by my house that goes right through their home/nesting area and sometimes theyll actually come down and attack you, it happened to me and my SIL, |
Ih yes seaguls...flying rats...and canadian geese during migration honking menaces! |
We have so many Magpie's here in Alberta too and I honestly hate those birds. :( They really make a racket and are such sassy birds. I believe that bird was mostly likely being a tease like you said. |
Kippered Snack! We must be extremely watchful where we live, as we have many resident bald eagles who frequently fly over to see if they can pick off any of our goslings or ducks. If Kipper were to be out there, I am sure he would become a kippered snack! By the way, I let Kipper watch the little video and he watched intently and growled and jumped when the bird flew across the screen. Thanks for sharing! |
Oh my those hawk warning s scare me! Ecen though my Yorkie is 12# still though |
What a crazy bird! Luckily we just have squirrels here that taunt my two. They go absolutely crazy chasing those things... |
