Penny and tv Been awhile since I've been on Yorkie talk. Boy do we have a problem with Penny who is 2 yrs plus. She is 9 pounds. As of about a week and a half she has been watching tv. Even when it is off. We have to turn off the set to get her to eat and potty. She won't play anymore and doesn't want treats. Her life is tv. Okay, turn off the set. Well, we are older folks and like the tv on once in awhile. Just heard from the Dr., he did'nt laugh. There is a drug out there that will help but for bigger dogs. He can have it made for Penny and her weight. There are dogs that are obsessed with other things but had not heard any with a tv addiction. We are going to wait with Spring coming. We can get her outside and that may help. Has anyone else had this problem. It would make me feel better if you have. |
I never heard of a dog watching TV! It's kinda funny. And what kind of pill does the vet think she needs? Plus, if she's only been doing this for a little over a week, try drawing her attention to do other things if you think this is becoming a problem. |
Hope I am doing this right We are turning off the tv a lot. We are making her play. We make a move and she runs for the tv. Don't know what kind of pill Dr. was talking about. We will just keep struggling with her. She loves the our doors so if Spring will hurry we'll have her ourside. |
I'm on the computer Penny even runs for my lap while on computer. She loves the computer but I draw the line there. Had her out a few minutes ago to potty. Came in and run for the tv. It was off. If looks could kill I was dead. Tv still off. |

ZoE loves watching tv! She especially likes certain commercials and will come running into the room when she hears the opening sounds so she can stand and watch them. There's others she seems to find annoying and runs into the room just to bark at those ones  |
